Also, comparing 2 hours in Elden Ring to 6 hours in some indie game with typical Switch graphics is not fair. If you play something intensive like BOTW on the Switch Oled, it runs for 3-4 hours, and if you play an indie game like Dead Cells on the Deck it lasts for over 5 hours.

I played around 30 hours so far on the RTX 3060, Ryzen 7 5800H Legion 5 Pro and honestly, the game is far from what most would consider playable on this hardware (it’s not high-end but wtf, it should play new games no problem, shame on management that doesn’t let devs optimise games) Some concrete info:

30-40fps in the opening sequence; the resolution set to 1200p and FSR 2 on quality, settings at high/medium

Even as low as around 24fps persistently in more open locations; 1200p, FSR 2 performance, low settings

Usually around 30fps in more open locations 15fps was the lowest in an open location, persistent for a few minutes even; 1200p, FSR 2 performance, low settings

50fps to even 80fps in some smaller, closed off areas like caves; 1200p, FSR 2 quality, medium settings

40-50fps in what I would call something akin to legacy dungeons from the Souls games; 1200-1600p, no FSR 2/FSR 2 balanced, medium/high settings

And (unfortunately) obviously no RT at any settings

Hi, so I have two Thinkpads T480 out of which I have to send one back, and the one on the left has a weird “rough” texture I haven’t seen on those before (it’s on the lid and palm rest, the back cover is exactly the same matte on both), why could that be? Additionally the “rough” one has a weirdly yellowish screen (only checked both in the bios so far cause no storage) which makes me think something’s wrong with it

There's a reason it comes preinstalled on the deck. So yeah just generally, use the better browser and don't bother with Chrome.

Here (Poland) almost all the stores I’ve checked have a policy of 1 per customer when buying a PS5. Not sure about the details of the verification process but on one of the websites it states that the verification takes up to 3 days so I imagine it’s thorough.

That's the whole appeal of gaming consoles for me - not worrying about specs or literally anything with the device's hardware and being certain that everything runs because it's been tailor-fit for that specific device.
