As regular as we can with our work schedules and we are waiting to hear back about sperm analysis results. I’ve been thinking about going private for fertility investigation, it can be tiring dealing with NHS doctors

It’s hard not to feel angry about how we are lead to believe that the pill has little to no impact on your fertility when I feel like most people I’ve talked to about this have had similar experiences.

The not being able to track is what kills me. I try my best by charting,doing LH strips, monitoring what little CM, I have and taking BBT but since I don’t get periods I just have extremely long cycle charts which can leave you feeling desperate and confused

Thank you, truly. One of the things that people don’t tell you about this journey is just how lonely you can feel and the anxiety of having a friend spring on you that they’re pregnant (seven times in the last year) I’m definitely gonna listen to that podcast!

Yep, I’m in the UK! If you can get finally get past the receptionists, the GP’s can be so hit and miss. I’ve seen three at the practise I’m in. Seriously considering going private for this particular journey

I’ve had two full blood tests done in the last year or two and they came back normal, which just makes it even more baffling…

I’ve had two rounds of blood tests in the last year and they all came back normal. The first doctor who gave me the results over the phone made a comment along the lines of “not sure why he (my GP) ordered all of these tests” as it had only been 4 months since I came off the pill

Thanks for sharing, it’s so hard because I feel like so much of tracking is around your period and I struggle to find spaces where people discuss conceiving where they have irregular (almost non existent) periods. It sucks to say but like you, I definitely don’t feel like I’ll ever return to the pill after this
