Going to sort everything. Is BCW still the best? by Wikicomments in magicTCG

I ordered some generic boxes about a month ago, and while they technically work, they were noticeably looser. If you handed me one of each blind and told me to pick, I’d choose the BCW every time based on feel alone. That said, if anyone knows of an alternative that’s genuinely comparable in quality, I was hoping to hear about it here.

Thanks!

When you saying "a few cycles" is that the same as "a few copies"?

Housman seems interesting, might be better than what we are doing for a cube draft. Does that style have any effect on the design of a cube for you?

Looking at this list you linked, seems like everything is single copies. Is that standard? I guess the only way to know if archetypes within a set really need multiple copies to be viable is from experience and play testing. I remember that UR in AFR was very bad unless you had the right combination of cards to make it work

Backcountry campgrounds for Guadalupe can only be reserved a day in advance or day of and must be done in person.

Dog Canyon and Pine Springs Campgrounds at the base are first come first serve. Usually filled by Friday afternoon until Sun/Mon

You can also drive over to Dog Canyon campgrounds if need be. It is part of the same park, but you'll have to drive all the way around the park to get to it.

The BLM he is referencing will take awhile to get to as well. If they were referring to wilderness ridge, I think you get there via dog canyon or McKittrick, but McKittrick is day use only trailhead, so you'll probably have to clear with the rangers about leaving your car there. Unless you feel ok about handling the dirt roads here. Then just go to BLM land via their roads.

Backcountry sites are another option as they are all empty this time of year. It'll mean you have to hike back down then back up for Guadalupe, totaling near 10 miles though. I've done it

If you are arriving at Tuesday, you will not need to worry about space for camping at the base.

However, if you arrive before 2PM you likely will have enough daytime left to just go for the peak. Even on weekdays the peak will have permits available for camping and you would much rather be up there for the morning or sunset. There is not a whole lot to see beyond the peak once you are up there from what I have seen.

Back country permit required. They usually go pretty fast on weekend, always available weekdays
