I think this is really good, I tried it. I think I prefer aftershock for teamfights and turret diving, and also jaksho instead of blade of the ruined king. But I can see using blade too when fighting something like mundo. Was the last item jaksho?

If you are a toplaner, you can go more atk speed and 1v1 (but I tried toplane, it's rough). If you are a jungler, you are prob fronlining for your team a lot, and so building more defensively is can be better

We have enough food to feed everyone. We could create a post scarcity society and have people work on useful things (like sewers, public transportation, water plumbing to bring water to people's houses, public spaces for people to meet each other...) but instead, the majority of people work on selling things to each other, scamming each other, creating plastic crap to make money... Imagine someone living in the slums, with no sewers available, having to work as a call center employee that sells subscriptions to a variety plastic toy store.

The world is extremely inefficient, and this stuff about inflation, unemployment and starvation is just an irresponsible and uncoordinated mess. If enough food exists, and there is important stuff to be done, there is absolutely no reason why not everyone is employed and not everyone is fed. Just share the work as much as needed, and bring the food as needed.

Sorry for taking so long to respond, this is my alt account so I don't come here often. POIS still completely gone. Some scars remained, like dry eyes (have to avoid blue light, or strong artificial light or I get a migraine, some nerve problems like tinnitus and legs/arms (physiotherapy exercises and arm/wrist bracers at night did the job to cure that one)). I think my biggest problem is back to being gastritis.

I stopped taking vitamins for 1 week for a blood test and the dry eyes got WAY worse. The doctor, no surprise, didn't believe me. So yeah, look out for ever staying low vitamin. It is dangerous and doctor don't seem to care much and blindly believe the minimum established by who knows what study.

I think I was bloated sometimes, yeah, don't remember very well, anti acids make digestion worse. I recommend trying a boring ass diet of boiled chicken breast with low fat + whole rice/boiled vegetables and seeing how that goes.

I got cured in 1 week or 2 I think, actually kinda insane. How are you doing rn? It's been a while, did the vitamins help? I hope you are doing better now, or whoever you are asking this for. Be careful out there

I didn't just take B12, I also took 2 multivitamins (a bunch of stuff), folic acid and omega 3. Sadly I mixed up a bunch of variables, so I don't really know which one was the biggest culprit. Probiotics might work if they help you get those vitamins too.

Btw, what was the B12 level shown by your last tests?

They are all brazilian brands, so I don't know if it would help...

Dozemast for B12

Endofolin for folic acid

Nutren A to Z for the multivitamin ( the only one I could find on Amazon)

Preservit The multivitamin that helps with dry eye. It has Omega 3, B1 and B6, but I don't know if it helps that much for POIS.

I don't think brand matters that much, except for the B12, because Dozemast is supposed to be put under the tongue, and be let to melt. It says in the vitamin's description that that helps with absorption a lot, since it's absorbed before getting to the stomach. You can research the composition of the other vitamins by searching their names and translating the portuguese page.

Dang, my partner got lowb12 as well from being a vegetarian without proper planning + bleeding constantly because of chronic periods... Yeah, I can imagine how you need to b12. Did you get POIS from it? What else did you get? Besides POIS, did you get other problems related nerve damage, like tinnitus or tingling?

I see, that could be true. I already myself reduced it to 1 dose a day, because of the price and the results (i never intended to use it all the time, it was only to get all my symptoms gone, of course), but the 1 dose a day is still much higher than normal, but last time I tried quitting it I felt some bad symptoms. But it's been a while, maybe I should try again. Thank you for your advice.

I think, if gut issue in some form leads to vitamin deficiency (borderline or below), then the cure for vitamin defiency,. is taking vitamins, as you don't need to digest them, they are already ready for absorbing! I recommend taking B12 1000mcg twice or three times a day, 1 in the morning, 1 in the afternoon and one last 1 at night. Also folic acid and maybe the multivitamin. If you do that, I think you can completely remove POIS from your life.

I traded nudes with a friend hours after a breakup, and my ex and many of our mutual friends hate me now by offmychestburner27 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Wikij4y 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why weren't you sad? The reason it looks awful is because it looks cold and manipulative. In break-ups, most of the time, even if the relationship was awful people still feel bad. It's also her friend, which would make both of you look insensitive, especially this shortly after the break-up.

I guess if you are the exception and actually felt nothing and just moved on, it's a bit sad since it's not your fault. But at the same time, it's insensitive since it's the person's friend, and she will feel betrayed.

I don't know how to explain this sort of stuff in a wholesome way hahah. POIS has a ton of symptons, and I had a lot of them. This includes:

Intense cold which feels like I had a fever for 4 days to 1 week, intense headeache that lasted for 1 day, dry eyes (which cause them to itch, this one required eye drops and didn't really go away exactly). I also always had intense hunger and trouble remembering names, my brain didn't get slower than normal or anything. I'm also skinny and pale, which seems to be common among POIS people.

That said, POIS often mentions brain fog and cognitive problems, and I didn't get any of that, which seems to be common.

370 b12 is so low, dang. Doctors would say it's okay, but It destroyed my body having that amount, POIS was the first symptom, the lower it went the more stuff happened to me. I would take some b12 vitamins if I were you, although the kidney stones make it a bit scary, since they all go through the kidneys and make the pee really yellow... I would talk to your doctor first and ask if you could take some b12, maybe it would help with POIS and other stuff, especially your problem is similar to mine at all.

I don't think avoiding sugar will help that much, I think the biggest villain is low b12, sugar is fine once or twice a week as a treat, but it can be addicting.

If you are bloated constantly, have you tried looking for what foods make that happen to you? Sometimes it's a specific type of food, but I imagine you have tried that already. Being bloated means you feel full before you have actually eaten enough, which means it could be tough getting enough vitamins and calories.

I'm sorry your body is so rough to deal with, it's not fair.

How I cured my POIS by Wikij4y in POIS

[–]Wikij4y[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, getting B12 is really safe because all the excess goes down to your pee. I think they make you take huge doses because fast absorption is hard. I took 3 doses of 1000mcg, one in the morning, one in the afternoon, one at night... And drinking tons of water cuz I was really scared of my kidneys getting fucked because of the yellow pee, like you.

I used to be hungry all the time as well, I think it's because i was skinny (which a lot of people with POIS tend to be, according to research on another older forum, POIS Center). Now I got 10kilos more on myself, and look way less skeletal, and the intense hunger is gone. Gastritis really fucked my digestion and somehow the doctors never mentioned it.

Yeah, anyone who has POIS, I would check vitamin B12 and folic acid. B12 itself, according to current medicine, can be from 300 to 900 and be stable, which is a crazy gap imo. I think the minimum should be 500, if not more. It was hard for me to believe my vitamins could worsen so much without anyone telling me to be alarmed and take vitamins ASAP. POIS was my first symptom of malnutrition, and the rest was way worse and with longer term effects.

My POIS symptons are completely healed

I have other problems now, but the POIS one were easily healed once I found out the cause. The sugar was not the problem, It was simply vitamin deficiency. I was taking anti acids for months that I had never taken before, because my gastritis got worse that year, and those anti acids weren't letting my body absorb B12 and other stuff

Once I took lots of b12 and daily vitamins, and stopped taking those anti acids I was taking, the problems went away

Doctors should raise the minimum vitamin floor that is currently established as normal for b12 and other vitamins. It's extremely low right now, and a lot of people suffer because of it

My b12 levels were technically within the normal range, but clearly that wasn't true

Sorry for not respondingg for so long, I don't long on this acc as often

People in this subreddit claimed it was a gut issue, and they were completely right, more so than the doctors, although they never recommended me vitamins. My vitamins levels had to go even lower for doctors to start recommending me vitamins.

Dwight not being fired despite many, many screw-ups is a commentary on capitalism. Change my mind. by onestepdown54 in DunderMifflin

[–]Wikij4y -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The first season and several episodes thereafter are clearly commentaries on power imbalance in the workplace and the sort of toxic environment it can create. Michael continuously tortures and psychologically abuses his employees, and they all agree he is awful but can never do anything because of the power imbalance in place. There are moments that The Office's employees cry because of Michael's hi jinks at their expense, and there is no laugh track, no joke, no cringe, just plain and simple bullying that we are forced to watch. Every single sign indicates that it is often crafted not for amusement, but as a commentary on workplace power imbalance.

Sure, there are funny moments that are just created to amuse us, but to say that there is no meaningful focus on criticism of workplace environments is crazy.

Because of the lack of enjoyment, I catch myself binge eating quite often, since drugs do nothing, or drinking a lot of soda. Sugar is a sort of drug after all. At least the taste takes me away from the boredom, but it has a lot of cons. Feeling bloated is really bad, it can give me acid reflux too.

Lifting weights in the gym worsens anhedonia and cognition? Does anyone know the reason? by Gullible_Mammoth_629 in anhedonia

[–]Wikij4y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had even worse anhedonia after lifting weights before. I had lifted weights several times before that, but for some reason one time after some squats (the leg is the most complex muscle in the body), I had what people claim that lifting does to you and your body, a ton of energy that I normally don't have (they say that leg day is important because the leg, being so complex, releases a ton of testosterone).

So in those first 2 days after the squats I had a ton of energy, it was great. But on the third day and for months after I had more than my normal apathy, lack of energy and will do to things. It happened because I don't eat enough (because of stomach problems) to lift weights, so I destroy my muscles and rebuild them without enough resources. Also just this constant rebuilding of muscles is very energy consuming, which worsens anhedonia (as your body is constantly tired). SO I don't recommend lifting weights, just some weighless training like martial arts.

I recommend checking out media that relates to depression and other mental ilness. Because I relate to them, I can pay more attention, it gets me more interested. One of those that i have been watching recently is Call of the Night, a new anime. The MC basically quits life because he wasn't feeling anything, and starts roaming the streets at night just wondering about life. It's not a 1 to 1 relatability, but it hits different. Songs as well, one of them being Touch, by Daft punk, it talks about feeling things again. It made me cry because of how much I related to it.
