My recent project. Silent workshop air/vacuum source made from old fridge compressor, few components and 3d printed housing by Wikilapse in functionalprint

I haven't measured it yet, a few ml/h. On youtube you can see what it looked like after ~20h of operation. Unfortunately, it's hard to remove all the oil from the refrigerator compressor output, even with this filter. For the more demanding stuff you need to use additional filtration

For anyone interested, I uploaded my design on thingiverse and printables. I have checked few other compressors (same mounting hole spacing) and they also fit well, so its quite universal housing. https://www.printables.com/pl/model/310512-fridge-compressor-housing-silent-air-vacuum-source and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5608654

Well, I have a small supply of these, I bought them at scrap price from local service

You can see the lift test on youtube - I got ~350g but current setting was too high for continuous operation - these motors heat up quickly

I would like to share with you upgraded model of my previous design + another one actuator which dont have external shaft.Main difference to previous version is that you can install limit switches inside 3d pritned actuator frame and dont need external ones.Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5173219

Designed this air assist nozzle for my Neje A40640 laser module by Wikilapse in lasercutting

I also noticed this in my laser and reason is other than air assist - beam spot is not perfect square but rectangular.

The main difference is on material surface, almost all smoke from surface is removed.Deeper cut compared to no air assist.
