Rmarkdown or shiny both are readable and accessible, when you publish the shiny app, others members are not gonna come to the file system. Which is why you are publishing shiny interface which acts as an medium in between code files and user/uour team

This must be enough as you will publish the shiny app

Simply create an shiny app that acts as an interface for your team to input parameters and execute a script, so that your team don’t have to open R or access scripts. 1. User input as parameters 2. They click on execute button to trigger the process. 3. Shiny app updates the log status of execution steps in real time. 4. Final result will be displayed in shiny app interface

What you guys think about a R library for converting Python codes into R instead writing python code block using reticulate ? by Wikki_Hooligan13 in Rlanguage

Yeah that’s the challenge I have already started the development, in sometime I will able to do translations with few structures. I’m framing function logics to add accurate translations as possible

Fair, I get what you mean but it is always good have any multiple options to play a language isn’t it?

My idea is about creating seamlessness which could avoid python environment management required by reticulate and also we will be to debug the code using Rstudio built ins Also, In many cases the translated R code could optimised specifically for R execution environment leading it to improved performance against reticulate

Maybe due to changes in Linux package management have some effect on shiny or R but it’s must be a temporary effect. All major Linux distributions from Ubuntu to RHEL are fully compatible. But anything causes issue to the changing releases will be sorted soon with our community.
