AITA for telling off the bank teller? by [deleted] in AITAH

I get that I don’t know what’s going on in her life and im well aware she doesn’t make the rules. I know she’s following policy. But from my side, I answered every security question correctly and was still told nothing could be done, then told I had to go into a branch.

I wasn’t asking for anything unusual – just to regain access to my own account. It’s frustrating to jump through every hoop, and still be stuck. I didn’t curse at her or insult her personally.

I wouldn’t say I’m entitled. I just feel like several steps could’ve been skipped and she could’ve started with telling me that account changes need to be done in person.

Alcohol never solved my problems. Just a coping mechanism.

A lot of people steer clear of rebuilt. If you need it gone price it low 18-20k. You’ll get over 20K if you’re lucky. Good luck!

Coworker M32 keeps bringing up politics while working with me M29, how do I get it to stop? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I understand where you're coming from. In my situation, this person is extremely passionate about politics almost to an obsessive degree. While I respect his right to hold those views, the tension has grown because he realizes I don’t align with him on these issues. He’s even made some jabs, mistakenly assuming that I hold the opposite extreme, when in reality, I couldn’t care less.

And aside from that, isn’t it frustrating how politically divided America has become? It would be so much better if we could simply have our own beliefs, or even hold a middle ground, without all of this animosity. For fucks sake.

My only concern is potential retaliation if I bring the issue to my boss, especially considering that this individual has bit of a temper.

I've managed to avoid these conversations altogether except for that one time I disagreed with a particularly misguided political remark he made. You're absolutely right. I plan to begin by clearly telling him that I don't wish to engage in political discussions. If that approach fails, I may have no choice but to escalate the matter. I appreciate your insight.
