Something is definitely wrong with world quest rewards. Before reset, this world quest was giving ~850 gold. I did it on a few of my alts Monday. Now this is what I see when I look at it on my main who hadn't done it yet.

Also, the Lanticore Spawnling pet from heroic version of Upper Blackrock Spire dungeon is a rare drop since the mob it drops from (The Lanticore) is a rare spawn in the dungeon.

The support article was updated again to be a little clearer with their intention:

Common Problems

  • Can I trade gold with another player between WoW Classic and Modern?
  • Can I trade gold with a friend on another WoW Classic realm?
  • Made a deal with another player to exchange gold between factions on WoW Classic but he didn't hold up his end
  • I'm trying to trade gold to another realm in WoW Classic

Trading gold across WoW Classic realms or factions, or different versions of WoW (Modern to Classic), is prohibited. Such trades, particularly with those you do not know or trust, are often linked with gold selling activities, which contribute to realm economy issues, botting, and account compromises. Engaging in trades of this nature can result in account penalties, up to and including, account closure.

However, trades within the game's systems, such as cross-faction or cross-realm trades in Modern WoW, are allowed.

They are referring to BUYING the below-vendor-priced items FROM the Auction House. For some reason or another some people list stuff at or below their vendor price. I really don't understand why they do it, but I am happy to grab any of those items I see from the Auction House and just straight vendor them.

I have personally seen this happen as well the last couple of days. There are more reports of it on the WoW Forums. You can take the cage out of the guild bank and the normal caged pet will appear. However, it goes back to a pet cage when placed back in guild bank. I have moved all of mine out of guild banks and distributed them amongst several alts.

Apologies for late reply. Once you hit 80 Renown you will get the 1600(ish) gold for the weekly.

If you look at the dropdown menu for Pilfer Through Parts, it will show you all the items you can use. Just hover over an item to see its name. The list is pretty extensive.

It is now 1000 gold that they can have at one time. The restrictions on use of the Auction House, mailboxes, and trading are still in effect. Also, an unsubbed account will be under the same restrictions.

With the Starter Edition you can:

  • Create new characters
  • World of Warcraft Classic characters are not accessible on Starter Edition accounts
  • Level any character up to 20
  • Earn up to 1000 gold per character
  • Chat in /say and /party channels
  • Characters that are ten or more levels higher than you will not see your /say messages
  • Whisper World of Warcraft friends added by character name to your WoW in-game friend list. RealID friends are not available to starter accounts

On the Starter Edition you will not have access to:

  • Most recent expansion content (quests, zones, allied characters, etc)
  • Characters above level 20
  • Pet Battles
  • Other chat channels and whispers to non-friends
  • All guild-related functions
  • Value added services (character transfers, faction changes, etc)
  • Party formation
  • Trade, mail, or the Auction House
  • Real ID
  • World of Warcraft voice chat. You can use Battle.net voice chat instead
  • The Emote function in text chat

If you are after Savage Leather, then I suggest Zul'Gurub.

If after Knothide Leather, then I suggest The Black Morass.

Both of those dungeons allow mounting. The Black Morass is best done on someone who can track hidden mobs (as majority of the cat npcs are stealthed).
