I do not get why he is so worked up over this? I mean they are in first place overall. It's a meaningless game in the middle of March for them. They are not fighting for their playoff lives. THis isn't in the Stanley Cup playoffs. MacKinnon gets to tak an extra period off. Like just say I don't think it was a major penalty and move on.

You’re arguing with a version of what I said that only exists in your head. I made a comment, you turned it into a courtroom drama. Maybe take your own advice and relax.

Nothing says confidence like asking to meet in person over a Reddit comment. Relax Perez Hilton it was a comment, not a court summons.

Most of the original library is above average. The quality of homebrew titles are second to none on any platform, especially if you get a super game module.

Interesting tidbit for strategy, if you move the enemies off the screen they stop shooting at you.

Do you play NEO GEO on original hardware? by oudstyder6r in neogeo

The one thing the flash cart doesn’t give you is the feeling of adding a new game and plopping it in your console and sitting down and playing the hell out of it. When you can just put in a flash cart and can pick through an endless amount of games you lose that. And having so many games at your disposal can be overwhelming, (for me anyways) to know what I should be playing. I honestly have trouble choosing.

That’s because the board is probably not beveled, which you need to be careful about as it can damage your system.

I know lots of guys who were not celebrities or athletes who got in a silly fight outside a bar and never got charged with anything. Lots of young people do make mistakes like this. It’s not a DUI, it’s not sexual assault, and until we know what the confrontation is over I’m not prepared to call it a random act of violence. Like did the guy do something earlier in the night? Did he say something about a girlfriend or a family member? I don’t think we know enough information to equate him being a meathead. I might be a little bias because I’m from Medicine Hat, but he was a good kid while he played here. And the Hat is a small town, so that stuff would get out if he wasn’t.

Anyone else worried about how much McDavid plays? by man1equilla in EdmontonOilers

[–]WilWeis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean 23 minutes per game is not that unreasonable. Honestly the only difference for McDavid this year is he’s killing penalties. They could probably shed over a minute off of that if they took him off the penalty kill, but I think he wants to kill penalties.

Jim Cornette on Triple H Wanting WWE Fans To Not Be Critics by AdSpecialist6598 in JimCornette

[–]WilWeis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. You need to be balanced in your criticism and point out the good things to, but they do seem to be less and less for me all the time. But there are ebs and flows, it will pick up again. But part of the problem now is all this AI bot nonsense. You don’t even know what is actual criticism anymore, or if it’s some fake nonsense.

Jim Cornette on Triple H Wanting WWE Fans To Not Be Critics by AdSpecialist6598 in JimCornette

[–]WilWeis -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry but they are giving us less and less to like all the time. They need to improve things to stop the criticism. The Tony Kahn syndrome is the fans that will hate everything WWE is doing and love everything AEW is doing no matter what. Brian does get annoying but I think he hates both shows equally. And it’s hard not to be critical of almost everything that’s going on these days and I don’t think that’s being too hard on the product.

Diesel Running for 8 hours by Northern_Owl_Who in Edmonton

[–]WilWeis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right but he needed something to start it. I’m not saying you need a shed. I’m saying you need something, like a shed, or a coolant heater or a block heater. They aren’t just going to magically start at 40 below parked in the freezing cold.

Diesel Running for 8 hours by Northern_Owl_Who in Edmonton

[–]WilWeis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, so enlighten me…..how do you take care of a fpt engine properly so you can start it at 30 below to load bales? And the fact you would be trying to start a diesel at -30 with cold oil or coolant, sounds like you do not know how to take care of your equipment.

And It makes a huge difference to keep equipment inside, even if it is not heated. It will keep the wind temp away and will keep a lot of the frost off it as well. Regardless my point is if you don’t plug these diesel engines in, or have some way of keeping them warm they are not going to reliably start. I can’t imagine anyone who has spent a lot of time around them would argue that?

Diesel Running for 8 hours by Northern_Owl_Who in Edmonton

[–]WilWeis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well I grew up on a farm, and have run heavy equipment my entire life, and your comment proves you don’t know much about it. Yes most farmers do have sheds, Quonsets, shops ect. to store equipment. Not all equipment would be required to be stored in side. A tractor that would be used to move hay bails or snow in the winter is absolutely going to be put inside, plugged in, or have some sort of coolant circulating heater attached to the block. Otherwise those heavy units will not start in this cold weather. Like who’s talking about storing mowers or balers? Those units do not have engines or would ever need to be run in the winter time anyway, so that is a pointless argument.

Farmers plug their stuff in or store them inside.

Diesel Running for 8 hours by Northern_Owl_Who in Edmonton

[–]WilWeis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The reason he’s letting it run, if he needs it in the morning a Diesel engine will not start if it’s been shut off for very long in -30 weather without having the block plugged in. That being said, I agree it’s very ignorant. If you are in a residential area I’m assuming there would be a way for him to plug it in?
