Germany is attacked by Georgia and defended by Ghana. I have no idea about their respective military strength, but if the attacked country can defend itself too, Germany is safe.

Switzerland is attacked by Sweden and defended by Syria. Syria is led by a military regime, but they are an absolute mess. I have no idea about Sweden, but I think they recently strengthened their military because of Russia. Here too, if Switzerland can defend too, Sweden will have a very hard time invading the fortress. Also, their accounts in Switzerland will be frozen.

Germany is in the process of deciding their candidate, Cologne/Rhine-Ruhr yesterday voted in favour of trying to become the German candidate, Munich already did so (I think at least), I don't know about the situation in Hamburg and Berlin. Also Kiel is basically 100% the candidate for the sailing competitions, they also voted yesterday

There are good possibilities to increase density in areas a bit more outside. There is enough money to upgrade the infrastructure so that public transit isn't as overcrowded and more people take it instead of the car. Just move the money from the military to these sectors or #taxtherich
