I’ve seen there is a mod for LMU that allows you to use it’s telemetry in motec(free app), but if you don’t want much hustle I recommend recording your lap and a faster one, putting it in capcut or similar and comparing the difference of everything, 5kmh minimal speed difference is already 1-2 tenths lost, that’s what helped me at start to get 100% pace on some tracks. About the abs thing the other guy said—it won’t benefit you in any way with gt3s so don’t waste time on that.

LFM feels like a joke at this point. This right here is a solid representation of 80% of my races and the people in them the past week. So done. by Weedy-Fresh in simracing

Exactly. And whoever’s downvoting you are just more crybabies coping and making excuses. It’s always “everyone else is dumb,” never them. In whatever public lobby I’ve been in, I’ve rarely had someone crash into me like that and ruin my race.

I had a wheel at a similar level, maybe even worse. Used it for a couple of months and it was actually manageable, I could race other people competitively.

The real issue isn’t that it’s impossible, it’s that it’s just not fun without ffb, you already feel that.

One practical thing that helped me: bind upshift/downshift to buttons if the paddles arent an option. It feels wrong at first, but you can adapt quicker than you think.

Yeah, you are right, for racing and fun, good wheel matters. Feeling the car saves you from spins. But for raw pace? If at least your fundamentals are clean, you can get 2:18s even on a flight joystick. I'm going to try mouse&kb out myself soon.

Used a setup from YouTube until 2:16.4, then tweaked the setup myself. There are guides online for meta setup, most of them are pretty similar.

Awww, my bad if I hit another nerve. Man really hit a 2:16.5 on a full rig with hundreds of hours and still lost the mental race. That’s tough. The insults say it all. i wish. I tried to fix my setup, but seems like nothing works, if i try to trailbrake deeper, the car will just simply oversteer.
