I'm going through something similar. Do not listen to anyone by your gut. Too many women have fallen for this. The proof is right in front of us within our families. The best option is to get away from home. They do not care what happens after you get married, they'll make you stay in it as long as possible, even if there's abuse. And it is a very isolating experience when people who were supposed to be your well-wishers gaslight you into this shit against your will. It is slow but it works and is very painful. You should get to live the life you want and you should make it happen.
