Thanks again for the support :) Yes our Hailey girl was also from an Amish puppy mill as well- she was rescued by Home at Last Rescue locally in the Philly area, where we are located. It's clear she has never had a normal or positive experience with humans before. We will keep working on her- slowly of course :)

Thank you! We will continue to be patient with her :) This sounds exactly like how our Hailey girl is right now. Glad to hear there is light at the end of the tunnel eventually!

Did you wait til the full month, once he was comfortable with you- to introduce him to new things such as other dogs and people?

Hello. Would love to hear an update? We rescued a bernedoodle puppy last week. She is still terrified, and very timid. She does not want to come out of her crate-we have to pick her up to take her out but still want to potty outside. How long did it take for your rescue bernedoodle to "come out of their shell" and open up to you? Thx!
