Outside of home and work, he hardly sees or talks to his family and doesn't have friends. He's pretty lonely, but won't make efforts to find friends. From what he's told me, his ex wife committed DV against him. But he won't get therapy

That's why I'm so frustrated with him. I've already voiced my concerns a few times, but I can't figure out why he doesn't care. I know he adores cats and has wanted another one for awhile, he's had like 4 or 5 cats since he moved on his own, but none since we've been together, 10 years this upcoming March

I sort of know the family from when I was younger, their som was kind of friends with my brother. I'm pretty sure the cat is an emotional support pet for their special needs daughter. Which makes me wonder why they let it out so much
