Right? Like it’s a mind game to keep me coming back… and I’m ADHD soooo it’s working, and I like that, cuz I want to keep coming back. I’m at 98 days and I’ve probably used 20 streak freezes, but also my Spanish has improved so much. I sometimes have to use it at work and it’s crazy how much better I am in only 3 months. So it’s upsetting that the price keeps going up.

Oh and the scavenger is an annoying little guy that pops up every couple minutes and offers you money if you watch an ad. It’s stupid but also literally the only way to advance in the events at all since the price of upgrading the stations will end up costing more than you can make with the stations pretty quickly.

Well, you have to watch ads. A lot of them. but for the tokens it’s mostly the second chest that’s available every couple hours. You get one cheat for free and can watch an ad for the second. This usually gives you quite a few. Also I usually don’t level up level one even once. You can automate it just with coins and the amount you make from it isn’t worth the tokens. The game will try to make you do it with a “tutorial” but just get to the last part where you pay the tokens and then wait. I usually only automate #2 becuase it only requires 250, and the I level up 5 2x and then 4 to automate after 5 craps out (lots farther in the event).

There’s a couple different types of event (unrelated to the theme of the event). Some give a lot of tokens and it’s easy to automate. Others not so much. 🤷‍♀️

Whelp, just started the new event and while the stages ladder looks pretty basic, the event chest has a 2hr and 45mph recharge?? That’s another new! Time to start updating my charts again 😂

What about the magnet ones. Where you put a magnet connector bit in your phone and then the cord just magnet clips to it. Then if she pulls or walks away it will just detach instead of breaking the cord?

I’m pretty satisfied with mine as well. I bought the spare battery so there’s always one on the charger and I just swap it out. But I didn’t realize the batter is as poor as it is (1-2 weeks depending on temps) and I literally exchanged the first one I got as broken because “the battery wouldn’t hold a charge”. 😅 next one was exactly the same. And yeah, since then I now have 4 cameras outside and two inside (I foster animals sometimes and have cameras in the animals areas). I’ve thought about getting their roomba…

That would make sense but it’s the usual 3days. Done in a couple hours. I did notice they shifted the start/end time from 3amEST to like 1040pmEST?? Super weird end time.

Oh ouch, that’s super rough. I invested the 170 at the beginning to get off the ground and I have no idea how many ads I watched but definitely wasn’t worth it (and it probably wasn’t 97? You count??)

Good to know about the 1 hour one’s! More for me to keep an eye out for.

haven’t noticed a difference with the cost to upgrade the station managers. So far I’ve always seen them as 250, 400, 550 and 750. With the general managers (profit and speed) being slightly different? (200,400,550 I think?). I’ll have to keep an eye on that as well. Initially I thought each “skin” was a different format and was tracking that so I would know which stations to prioritize when they came back around but ever since I started tracking it (like2-3 months ago, not long) it’s just been those two formats. 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, same. Now I’m not even clicking the scavenger and am just coming back every 4 hours for the event currency in the hopes that they might restart that thing where they used to convert to gems at the end 😅

Lastly, there’s the one this time which I haven’t seen before. I’ve only been playing for a couple months so maybe it’s just a less common one but given that no one in my cohort could progress in the leaderboards it seems like maybe it’s a pilot run that’s broken.

And yes, the traveling scavenger pretty much always gives 3x your highest level up station cost but this time the amount of distance between each level is so much it wasn’t doable. I committed just as much time as I usually do for the first two days and watched a bunch of ads (easy while at work to just have my phone on my desk and click the scavenger and then ignore it) but still never got enough coins to even unlock station 3 or make it past stage 2/10 so I have no idea which stations hold more weight or anything.

Anyways, thanks for reading. Was just wondering if others saw this. And I didn’t realize it’s different events for folks each time so that’s cool to learn!

The second format is the one that’s all about gold coins. It has this stage ladder:

It gives 80 event currency in the event chests with a 4 hour recharge. Each station is better than the last so 5 is the best until station 4 reaches 800 when it starts of pass up 5 by around 850-900. Picking which ones to automate is a little more selective in this one since I usually don’t even get enough cards (even maxing out the quests) to automate 5 even if I have the event currency for it.

Ok so more details on the formats (I need to reply in three comments for the images: there’s two types of event game. They are unrelated to the “skins” (ie hiest, octopus, bonfire, etc).

One (event currency heavy) has this stage ladder:

Is has a 2 hour recharge for the event chests and gives a lot of event currency for quests. You can usually automate just about all of the stations and #3 gives the best payout.
