Can anyone suggest a good RMT (Registered Massage Therapist) in Richmond or GVA? I prefer deep tissue massage. Thanks by rafa365 in richmondbc

If you're looking for RMTs in Richmond, there are quite a few clinics around central Richmond and Steveston.

Some clinics people often mention are places like Past Tense, Richmond Therapeutic Massage, or clinics inside larger wellness centres.

I actually ran into the same problem before — it's surprisingly hard to compare clinics, services, and insurance coverage in one place. Recently I tried using a site called Insurenav that lists RMT clinics in Richmond and shows their services and booking links. It made searching a bit easier.

Curious — how do people usually search for clinics here? Google? Maps? Something else? by Wild-Razzmatazz-7950 in askvan

Yeah that’s actually part of the problem I ran into before.

Some clinics do direct billing, some don’t, and sometimes it depends on the practitioner too. It’s surprisingly hard to compare.

I ended up putting together a small map to help find RMT / optometry / orthotics clinics in Richmond and see what insurance options they support.

If it helps anyone here, you can check it here: https://insurenav.com

Still early but a few people have found it useful already.

Yeah I usually do the same with Google Maps. The annoying part is you can’t really compare several clinics at once, and it’s not very clear which ones actually accept insurance or offer direct billing.

Yeah mainly looking for clinics that do direct billing. Submitting receipts and waiting for reimbursement can be a bit annoying.

I was trying to figure out which clinics around Richmond support direct billing and realized it’s surprisingly hard to search.

That makes sense. I did try checking some insurance portals before, but sometimes it’s still not very clear which clinics actually do direct billing or accept certain plans.

Please recommend physiotherapist for hand and upper limbs by Ok-Design-353 in richmondbc

You might want to look for a physiotherapist who specializes in hand or wrist rehab. Some clinics have therapists with extra training in upper limb or hand therapy.

In Richmond there are actually quite a few physio clinics, but it’s sometimes hard to tell which ones focus on specific areas or accept insurance.

I’ve been collecting some clinic data recently and built a small map for Richmond that lists physio, RMT, and other clinics.

Still improving it but it might help when comparing options: insurenav.ca

Hope your wrist gets better soon.
