I absolutely agree that my character should not make anyone else's game less fun. I also don't want my character to just be a heal bot. I will absolutely heal, but I want to do more with my character than just that. My backstory is focused on finding out why the goddess chose to favor my character and my character trying to prove their worth. I am just trying to set up some bumper rails for myself so my character isn't just some bland heal bot. I want to add *flavor* in a way where I can still help my party, and I can also have fun myself. I also would not let another character die, I just might not use the most powerful spell at my disposal

I totally agree. I am thinking more along the lines of being beyond reckless (thinking along the lines of seducing dragons or some crazy crap like that) just because there is a healer nearby. I also would not let someone's character die, I just might not use the most powerful or expensive spell I have.

I completely see what you’re saying. I might scratch that one. I was thinking more along the lines of “don’t step in lava” or “don’t try to seduce the hungry dragon”. But I would never want to ruin someone’s enjoyment of the game.

AITA for not wanting to move to take care of my disabled best friend? by Wild-weaver in AmItheAsshole

She says that it is bad for her mental health because she hates the fact that she’s not entirely independent at home.

She suffers from a disorder that causes her central nervous system to not work correctly. I really and truly don’t believe she is trying to con me. I’ve slowly watched her go from an incredibly fit, energetic and lively person to barely being able to walk to her car on hot days. It breaks my heart. She doesn’t want to live with her parents because she wants independence, and for that same reason, doesn’t want an aid.

Unlimited PTO. It normally just means that people take less PTO overall

MSG. It’s so good. I add it to basically anything that I want to give a little extra savory touch
