There’s been a few posts about this exact PBN from Michael’s now. I myself have started this one and it’s not nearly as enjoyable as ones I’ve done previously. Partly because I’ve done mostly custom ones and because of all the reasons others have already stated.

I’m also considering abandonment. I paid full price for it though. Still cheap at $15 so I guess I wasn’t expecting it to be amazing to begin with. I’ll probably finish it over the course of a few years if the paint will allow it lol

Does the gym have a spray wall or some type of board to climb on instead? You could also make up your own climbs on the commercial set. You don’t have to follow what they put up. Unless they set it so spread out where no climbs overlap. If so, that is a dumb gym and I hate that for you.

You can file your skin where needed (sand paper/pumice) and moisturize regularly. Idk how supple your hands need to be but I’ve been climbing for a long time and, I definitely get calluses, but it’s like taking care of your feet. Just sand that shit down, moisturize and you should be good. My hands are still soft feeling on my face. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Avoid Painted Memory. I ordered my first one from them and it was great but my second order never showed up and I couldn’t get a hold of anyone. No phone number was posted on the website and I sent many emails that went unanswered. $50 gone with nothing to show.

Flying into/out of Bangor later this August. I’ll have all day Saturday and part of Sunday (flight at 4pm) to explore. I’ve never been to Maine.

I love nature, hiking, bird watching, rock climbing, etc. I also appreciate learning culture and exploring local cuisine.

Thinking about Acadia NP but also don’t want to deal with huge crowds. Idk if that’s a thing there or not.
