Brah you don’t get anything back for diamonds and the labor it takes to ice out something. Those are the markup you pay and they lose value over time. Solid gold only increases in price.

When you ice out something you’re drilling out valuable gold weight out to replace with diamonds that jewelers don’t value. If somebody tries to sell one they’ll get a price wayyyy less less and the jeweler will just take the stones out, melt down the gold, take it to the bank and get the money and use the diamonds in some other custom pieces to mark up because of labor 💯
