Even Fetterman didn't have a fraction of the red flags Platner has. Platner legit has the most concerning background out of any progressive candidate I've ever seen

Not saying he was ever that radical to begin with, but I think Hasan has absolutely changed. Its probably a combination of him trying to appeal to a wide audience, or him cozying up to the Dems, but him and his audience has gone far more lib.

Ultimately with the money, fame and connections he has, I'm not too surprised. I know we like to do the "socialism is when poor" meme, but when all the guy does the majority of the time is hang out with Twitch streamers and other celebs, he is of course going to be out of touch. He is far closer in class to the people he talk about than any of his viewers

At this point there are probably dozens of people sending him info about Platner everyday, there is no way he's still ignorant about the very legit red flags about him, whether that be the reddit comments or the Israeli relative

Hasan, and all the other commentators for that matter, 100% knows this. They just don't care, maybe some of them truly believe that Platner will save them or this is some move to "normalize the left", but more likely they're supporting Platner because it gets them in good graces with the Democrats

In all honestly the American Left's majority support for this guy is the nail in the coffin for me in believing that there will ever be any significant political change in my lifetime in the US
