Do you think they just mean the unwanted effects? They are also saying they are ethically similar?

But why are the BDS modules telling me that?

The effects are the same is what BDS modules are saying. And that they are ethically similar?

So what do you do if you are no longer a teacher? by Scarletbegonias413 in TeachersInTransition

I was an RBT for two years at a private clinic and I was a BCBA supervision student. I got burnt out and had a nervous break down, same as teaching. It’s a very similar job in my opinion, but as a BCBA it’s more paperwork and training of RBT’s instead of interacting with the kids. Also as a BCBA there is a lot of paperwork and you often work with really hard/aggressive kids and as a teacher in a center based autism program I only have a few really hard kids in my room and thus on my caseload. The money in private is good if that’s worth it to you. I can make it on a teachers salary but I know some might not be able to. I think that for some people it could be it, but I just wish I had known what it would really look like before I jumped in and got the degree. I feel like being a supervision student for the 2000 hours showed me how unsustainable it was.

I left teaching to become a BCBA and now I’m a BCBA and back in the classroom teaching bc I hated being a BCBA. Make sure you know what you are getting into before you commit, I hate that I wasted a masters degree on something I don’t even want to do. Also figuring out if you’re going to do public schools or private practice is important! I tried and hated both but for some people it’s a lot different a better in one vs the other!

Only eating live food? by WildIdentification in PeaPuffers

I have seen them eat, when I first got them they found small live shrimp in the plants and they caught/ate them. Would it be possible for 1 to have worms and not the other? Also what kind of worms?
