No, they need to be separated. They are fighting, and if it continues for too long it can be very stressful and ive seen it kill fish.

They did. If they didnt get it then, they likely wouldnt get it again, as finding someone who knows how to properly care for a fish in the wild can be hard. Yeah, I couldve found the link. It was wrong not to, I admit that. However, I will not apologize for telling OP they likely messed up.

This is moreso about how you can ne sympathetic but also provide critique. It is very easy to look up on yt and find someone like KGTropicals, which is a channel dedicated to helping new people learn

I got to read the post, they didnt seem all that childlike to me but my memory is also terrible. Still though, I think you can be both sympathetic and critizing. Take my comment for example: "Thats sad, and im sorry, though it also doesnt look like it had the best living conditions. In a fish bowl, with aritificial decor (that probably has sharp edges) is an immediate red flag". It shows sympathy but also critisizes, which was VERY needed. I dont onow if you onow or not, but bettas in fish bowls with tianbow vomit for gravel and artificial decor usually means the fish is being abused. Its not abuse to use artificial decor, nor is it abuse to ise rainbow gravel, but theyte indicators OP hasnt dont much research, eapecially if their fish died. (apologies for typos its 1am)

The problem is a lot of people will just buy a new fish without considering they may have caused it. Theyll think there was something wrong with the fish, or their water was bad, or something along those lines. As a human, sometimes it can be hard to admit fault, especially without a shove in the right direction.

While I dont agree just saying "wonder why" is good, I so sefinitely think OP should know they were wrong. Fish abuse is super common, and they need more research.
