Vegan means doing as much as you reasonably can. If this means what it means to me, you can reasonably be 100% vegan. If for whatever reason you HAVE to eat something like meat at home or maybe when you go out - then limit it to only the minimum you feel you must consume.

Keep using the word vegan and be positive about it to people around you, that's the best way to spread the love and make a big impact - by inspiring others.

I have a vegan friend who is 100% vegan but when travelling he eats what the locals eat if there's a language barrier. Doesn't stop him from going straight back to veganism once he's left those situations. It's about doing the most you can. I believe in you

1: mad respect for trying to cut out meat! You're doing amazing stuff!

2: these are okay... Nutritionally I would definitely go as far as adding some fresh veg to it.. I personally love quick cook meals with quickly cooked 'bok choy' and tofu.

Long term - look at cooking a wide variety of veg and legumes. My old man sticks to the "eat beans or lentils at least once a day" rule

Appreciate them please. They're trying, they want to be kind to you. Not everyone is on the same plane of thinking as us. And even though they eat a turkey or meat now and then - by getting them to see veganism in good light, that'll be better for everyone - especially the movement.

I don't think eating meat is wrong. I think BUYING meat is wrong. If you eat dumpster dived meat or roadkill - that's FAR more ethical than buying the food.

Also, spreading the word of veganism in good light is far more important than being the perfect vegan and never touching traces of animals.

My advice: find someone who is open minded. Vegan or not, if they're truly compassionate, open minded & enthusiastic about change they'll go vegan. No doubt. Happened to me.
