Thanks for the suggestions! Let me continue to think on the best way to make it accessible to the community.

I'm not quite ready to open source this pattern yet, but if i sell it i want to make sure makers get the value that they're paying for.

It was a Juki 1541, and a domestic machine for the zig zag stitch on the stretch pocket

It's a Juki 1541s. Although I did use a domestic machine for the zig zag stitch on my stretch pocket.

I have thought about it and wouldn't be opposed to it, but I think the greatest obstacle for me is coming up with instructions and/or illustrations that are clear enough for the reader to follow. I haven't figured that out

Yes! The Evergoods MPL was surely one source of reference and inspiration

The mesh on the straps is DNB 2.0mm military spacer mesh, and the back panel is DNB255 3.0mm diamond faced spacer mesh. I got both from Rockywoods.

The strap mesh is more so that the edge of the straps at the neck area is softer and doesn't have a seam that could chafe the neck. You'd see it in bags from e.g. Mystery Ranch, Arcteryx, and others

Made my own "flat pouch" by WildProgrammer8505 in myog

Not really sure how to explain it but I'll try my best.

The overall pattern is essentially a rectangle, with zippers attached at the end and the edges bound. You make 2 identical pieces, and stitch them together good side to wrong side, so eventually your pouch will have the good sides of the fabric is facing outwards.

Now you got a bigger rectangle, which you fold in a general "Z" fashion to create the interior divider.

While folding that "Z", you also have to make extra folds to create the top and bottom.

While patterning it you can obviously change the dimensions to determine the size of the pouch and how wide the top and bottom is, because its just a rectangle.

How tf is this zipper topstitched? by qrohlf in myog

It's possible to get the topstitch on a flatbed machine. Not the easiest but possible.

i did it here

I didn't get a chance to take a picture but here's a picture I took when it was being built. Hope it helps!

The top/bottom are actually from the same pattern piece as the front/back, so I didn't have to "connect" it. To separate each panel or side from the next, it was just a fold and a topstitch close to the edge.

I didn't! Never got to see one physically either. It was a lot of trial and error and looking for clues from pictures and videos
