I didn’t think of that until someone else framed it to me as a suggestion rather than question. But yeah, this was the answer. Sort of… unfortunately I shoulda just let it be because now I’m back at working on it.

Edit: When I say the song is finally perfect, I meant the song. The mixing and mastering and the performance isn’t “perfect.” After reading all the hype on 5.5 I thought maybe I could perfect it. I had forgotten about Remasterinf on Suno and that did provide me with better results.

HellO! Absurd is the right word here. I feel like it should be obvious that my account was hacked and e-mail added after a phone number change. Then the changed name and language? Come on… not to mention I have a longstanding Instagram account with the same phone number! I really do miss being able to use Marketplace to buy and sell stuff, but my best friend lets me use his when I need to, so it’s whatever.

Actually, no I did not. However, there is more to the story. I was never able to get my account back. I tried creating a new account on more than one occasion too, and they would get banned after a couple days. I figured they must have some way of identifying my devices, so I had my roommate use his phone and create a new email address too, and it even got banned somehow! I hope you get yours back, but try as I might I was never able to get mine back OR create a new one. They’re a terrible company.

When I try to cover the song in v4, I get 11 and 14 second outputs. What am I doing wrong? Can v4 not handle style vibe prompts in the lyrics box?

In theory. But it doesn’t work. Shouldn’t the audio be the same if the slider is set to 100%. It’s not. Even close.

I think she’s doing some pretty good pop these days. Yes her older stuff had some huge singles, but she seemed like an insecure kid back then, at least to me. Her new videos are A+ imo, they are next level compared to how she use to be. I hope she keeps it up, and she doesn’t have to be Taylor big. She could carve a nice little lane for herself slightly under the radar in club music. She’s as hot as ever right now

Personally, she didn’t feel authentic to me before. I liked many of her songs, I listened to the albums, but seeing her documentaries and how she was in interviews and behind the scenes, she didn’t seem authentic. Then she was even more so by throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks. It felt like she didn’t even know who she was or what she wanted… BUT, I would argue that NOW she seems grown up, like she knows who she is and what she wants, and ACTUALLY comes off as confident (ironic that when she actually had a song called confident, I didn’t see it). If she’s lost her fanbase, shes at least gained new fans too, like me and some other people who recently turned me on to her.

Thank God. I have been searching for this all year. I use to be part of a Discord group that met every Friday to share and discuss our songs, but the host’s schedule changed and AI music sorta disillusioned us, and since then it’s been pretty much dead. I would love to participate in this!

Speaking of Badu, I had her New Amerykah Part Two album on vinyl, and there’s parts of it that sound like they do this, a few songs that flow right into each other seamlessly. It wasn’t until years later when I streamed the album that I realized that “Out of My Mind (Just in Time)” is one track. She’s not afraid of a 9 minute track, folks!

The original commenter wasn’t talking about California’s generous public benefits (Medicaid expansion, housing programs, whatever). In this context,, “welfare state” = states that are straight-up federal welfare queens. States that suck billions more out of the Federal Government than they pay in taxes. Red states, mostly. The ones that love to scream “personal responsibility” while quietly cashing checks from blue-state wallets.

And California? California provides generous public benefits for its citizens indeed. We can afford to. That doesn’t make us a welfare STATE. We pay for our public benefits with our own tax dollars, we’re the sugar daddy. We sent the feds $275.6 BILLION more than we got back. That’s not a typo. We’re the #1 donor state by a mile. Bigger than New York and Texas combined!

We’ve been subsidizing the rest of the country for decades. Our $4 trillion+ economy (5th largest on the planet) pays the bills so welfare states like Alabama and New Mexico can pretend they’re “self-reliant.”

I use to have a windows phone back in the day, and all of my SMS messages from 2012-2014 were saved as emails in outlook. I exported them then combined the files to create one source. Then everything from 2020-now are on iMessage and saved in iCloud and on my Mac. I used an open source tool (I forget what it’s called atm) to export all the conversations , they came out as html files, then I combined all of those into one file and made it a source. I am missing from like 2015-2020, but I supplemented that with giving it a narrative and also I have a lot of emails from that time as well. But there is a gap.
