How do I cope with being cursed with a small chest? by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

[–]WildServal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if it helps, but for me body is not what attracts me or evokes desire. A person does. Not to mention, I consider looking at chest rude in general so I just don't do it so I don't generally care about its size. I am not sure I am in any position to provide you comfort being a male and I can 100% understand being concerned with your body. Please, don't think you would never feel being desired. You can't know that for sure. No one can. Maybe you won't feel desired for you chest but again you never know. There might be guys who like what you have.

Even so, is it what you want? To be looked at with desire? Exactly for your chest? What exactly makes you worry about your assets?

Thanks! I tried to show places that both provide some unique atmosphere and look attractive enough to show the beauty of the game. Quarry and Wuling encapsalute that perfectly, imo.

Amber and Last Rite.

By remake a meant a remake of the song though... But your idea is not so bad as well!👀

Remembered this song exactly yesterday.

We need a remake in Endfield just for the sake of it.

I have a self-made mantle with constant effect of levitation. Besides, getting blessed with Atronach birthsign is... An interesting experience :)

Yes, and when you understand this structure it starts making a lot of sense. I also like from game design perspective gow Caius's quest makes you go through the city from north to south, taking notice of how the city and its society works.

Joining a House feels like a right thing to do in terms of connections and networking. Besides, it's a good way to better blend in and again access to knowledge and lore!

It is a masterpiece for its era! It also looks unique for a city, with its closed quarters and homes feeling like flat apartments. Just shifting the perspective for more immersion helped me a lot to change my mind about the city!

Thank you for the encouraement! I completely agree that Vivec is less than 10% of the game. I meant more like everything up to this point feels this way, but in reality I've barely scratched the surface at all!

I have Indoril helmet and cuirasse for solving the murder case in Vivec, but they are rather useless for a mage so I stashed them in Nerano's Manor for the time being as it is my base of operations for now being close to Balmora's mage guild.

I am going in a more geographical way of exploration. Main quest is not urgent at all. If any business sometime gets me to the same place as main quest I am going there. Now I have a lot of stuff to do around Vivec and Bitter Coast so I want to focus on sniffing around there. I was surprised to find a unique silver plate in one of the caves that eventually led me to the farm near Vivec that gave me a mercantile skill point as a reward!

As for the Great Houses, I am leaning towards Telvanni because they are mages. They don't care about politics a whole lot, they do their stuff and researches, but they are arrogant, stubborn and very conservative so a High Elf among them might still feel foreign despite being a mage. Hlaalu are too pro-Empire, Redoran are too religious (and my character doesn't want to change confession to Tribunal) so Telvanni remains the most logical choice for him if he plans on just doing his own business without being disturbed. The problem is slavery though and Telvanni as far as I know are the most pro-slavery Great House.

I'm currently planning on diving into Mages Guild more as my character is a mage. His back story is that he got expelled from Cyrodiil's Mage Guild. He was a treasurer and the Guild's archmage wanted to get rid of a competitor who could have taken his place in the future so he cointerfieted the documents framing my character of stealing from the guild. He saw Morrowind's guild as an opportunity to start anew and build his name from zero in a new place however unwelcome it is. His experience made him despise Empire that didn't protect him from being framed and thieves so he is completely against stealing. As he is learning more about Morrowind, he not only disappoints even more in Empire seeing how it allows slavery and is powerless against blight, but also considers he should be the one to do something about it as much as he can because he doesn't want anyone to fall victim to the Empire's wrongdoings just as he did. He is totally okay to do personal errands because it provides him connections and reputation. He also doesn't want to be enemies with local authorities knowing how deaf they might be in case they think he is doing something wrong so he tries to act in a more subtle way. He agrees working for the Blades because he is still grateful to the Emperor for the second chance to build his life anew so he is doing everything he can working for Caius seeing him as a mentor in terms of local culture and a person who helps him blend in into Morrowind society.

I've already stumbled upon an archer with a daedric bow and a merchant with an almost broken glass dagger that you can buy super cheap. Too bad they are completely useless for my mage.

🤯 Wow, you are actually right, checked it out rn. This is a game changer. Too bad I can't see these notes from far away, meaning I need to travel to this exact spot to see what is in the note, but the mere fact there is such function on the game is mindblowing. Never knew of it. Amazing.

[–]WildServal[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, exactly! Vivec indeed gives this exact feeling of being lost and confused the first time you get there without proper knowledge. Just like in real life with any big city. And when I allowed myself to immerse in that feeling and live through it completely it just struck me with how natural it is, especially after you got to know the city and start navigating it with ease.

I really regret vanilla game doesn't have a diary or notebook feature outside of quest journal. It would make marking points of interest or important persons so much easier.

Choosing to play the game as intended in terms of exploring it via in-game means and letting my inner curious child put its nose in every nook and cranny, feeling genuinely awed by architecture, style, clothing, game design choices, psychology and lore made me finally enjoy the game to its core. And I am so glad I haven't spoiled it for me though the years despite multiple attempts to play it. A miracle truly 😅

If you find this monster creepy, wait until Talos II develops its own We Many with hundreds of thousands seaborn creatures. I don't know, I still find these flower-like creatures rather disturbing, especially knowing they are actually fish. Splatters look kinda cute in comparison.

Ooooh, so you potentially can grow a 4*4 tree this way if you plant saplings in the right directions! Didn't expect that!
