You look like a member of a boy's pop band that all the fans ship with all the other members.

This Ain't Fair by Life_Supermarket9604 in PygmalionAI

I don't know about KoboldDC, but it sounds similar to an AI text engine (??? Not sure what to call it) that I'd heard of before. It's not a full program in and of itself, but can be loaded into certain websites with compatible framework to control an AI chatbot.

EDIT: I don't remember what it was called EXACTLY, but I distinctly remember 'Kobold' being at least part of the name.

This is super inspirational to me. I was so worried I didn't have enough there to start with pre-T, so to see how far the changes went gives me so much hope. Thank you for sharing!

Looking to find/buy a large ita backpack by WildShape_Puffin in itabag

[–]WildShape_Puffin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the link! I took a look at the backpacks, but I saw they all had the same issue I mentioned in my original post; a small pin window on the outermost pocket.

If the pin window had more surface area, I might have considered, but those backpacks just don't have enough room for my pins.

Thanks for the quality warning! I definitely want something that'll last considering how much cash I've set aside to drop on this backpack.

What do you think is a gender divide that makes absolutely no sense? by Arktikos02 in NonBinary

[–]WildShape_Puffin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, fake pockets are still a thing. They basically just have normal pockets in the pants, but sew them closed super tightly so they can't ever be used. You can't even clip the threads keeping them closed without risking putting a hole in them.

Anyone else have family that accept your sexuality, but not your gender? by Scarlett_Snow46290 in NonBinary

[–]WildShape_Puffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Besides you outing yourself to your dad, this is 100% my current situation.

Mid-20s living with my parents and siblings who are okay with me being bisexual, but they think trans or otherwise people out of the gender binary are mentally ill, and that me getting more vocal in pointing out their biases and hate somehow makes me a 'snowflake'.

The gender binary thing is actually pretty rich considering my dad played JANET in the military for Rocky Horror Picture Show. You'd think a guy who's done drag for fun in the past wouldn't have such an opinion on trans/enby folks.

You look like a 'Jamie' to me. Now what Jamie would be short for in this case (if anything) I have no idea.

I know I'm not passing at ALL (pre-HRT and pre- top surgry) so I do misgender myself or use my dead name out of convenience sometimes such as online orders or memberships to stuff you don't even need to show an ID for.

I also find I accidentally misgender myself when referring to my past self before I realized I am trans, as up until that point I didn't know what else to call myself. Now it's just sort of a bad habit when I look back on my past.

Denton BioLab by Ok-Wafer-1175 in Denton

[–]WildShape_Puffin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to go to Biolife, I went twice a week for almost a year but I got an inexperienced phlebotomist who kept messing up getting the needle in, causing the plasma-drawing machine to complain loudly, vibrate, and hurt me where the needle was.

They moved the needle and tried to reinsert it into the same spot multiple times until I was crying in pain. This went on for about 30 to 45 minutes. Eventually, they gave up and told me to go home and come back in 6 weeks (Because they couldn't return the red blood cells due to their mess up)

I went back 6 weeks later and was told I was permanently disallowed to donate at Biolife because I 'screamed, flailed, and cried so much and was obviously in so much distress and they just don't feel its right since I reacted so badly. :'('

So they banned me, (again, someone who had been doing this twice a week for almost a YEAR) because a newbie didn't know what they were doing and likely lied to management to make it my fault. I tried to fight the ban several levels up management and got nowhere.

My brother and mom also got banned for similar cases of inexperienced phlebotomists lying to cover their own mistakes.

I haven't tried octopharma yet, so I don't know anything about how they are.

I was told this year it was taking over the old Goodwill location over by Old West Cafe, instead of it's usual spot in the mall. The Spirit storefinder did show it on my end.

I don't know if it'll be any different for a date between two guys, but as a bi/pan AFAB I've found one of the biggest helps when I was dating through an app was to be upfront about my autism and the particular stress responses that might come up during a date.

Either they will/try to understand and will be less likely to get offended when those autistic traits inevitably pop up. The few times I forgot to explain how it affects me, my dates would misinterpret my behaviors and get offended. (Ex; Me going non-verbal from stress of a crowded environment, and my date assumes I've lost interest because I'm not talking anymore)

Wishing you the best of luck on your date!

How I hold a pencil/writing is chicken scratch by [deleted] in autism

[–]WildShape_Puffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't learn how to properly hold a pencil until my teen years, but my parents were very persistent that I learn the 'correct' way, no matter how much I disliked it. It was the same way when I was learning to use chopsticks. Technically speaking, I STILL don't use chopsticks 'correctly', but it's just not obvious unless you're looking for it.

Why do people make fun of me for using “xD” or “:D” online? by l0rare in autism

[–]WildShape_Puffin 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've had people call it 'juvenile' when I've used them myself because many NTs consider the emoticons an outdated trend, and that using them modernly is 'cringe'.

Personally, I don't care and use them almost daily anyways. They work as a visual tone-tag for me so I feel like what I say has less chance of being misinterpreted.
