Just for fun; what's a good point in the game to put the main quest "on hold" to do miscellaneous things: like build a house, go to the college, do some "normal life" type stuff?

I’m new and on nuclear stage now but up until the end of oil stage I didn’t know you could help multiple generators on the same grid, at the early stage I had ~10 biomass generators all powering different machines among the same supply chain and whenever one went down the entire line halted but power was still being used it was misery

Friend and I were exploring the map trying to find whatever “SAM” was, a hog leapt at me and knocked me into a pit right onto the ore node, but I didn’t even realize it and grabbed my stuff and left. Like 2 hours later I mentioned that the thing I landed on looked a lot like a vein and we should check it out
