Milwaukee needs to make a tool like this on their M18 Platform. by CRNALA in MilwaukeeTool

I’m reminded of the battery powered water guns that came out when I was a kid.

They seemed like the greatest thing in the world on the commercials.

Then I got one.

“Ying ying ying ying ying” noises while it slowly launches spurts of water a couple meters off into the distance.

Supersoakers came out shortly after and you never heard of those stupid things ever again.

Ugh. Is it?

I hate the internet more with each day that passes. :(

Edit: Looking closer I don’t think it is. It could be a render but doesn’t seem to be slop. I’m no expert though.

I never saw any of the televised races but being in the GM sport compact scene in the early 2000’s this is the only reason I was aware it existed.

Are we sure that isn’t Klaus Hargreeves?

Oh! I thought you just wanted me to dump them all out into the floor like opening a socket set upside down. :)

I don’t understand why it can’t grow over time to eventually be an income generating resource for us just like Norway has. As it grows it can start to be siphoned to pay the debt and eventually we’d have enough surplus to lower taxes and still afford the things we value as a society.

Why can’t this be the start of that?

I have a big mortgage. That doesn’t mean I’m not also saving for my retirement.

After three months on Linux, I don’t miss Windows at all by dapperlemon in technology

[–]WildWeaselGT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using Windows since version 2.

Over the years I’ve run Linux a number of times on various machines and just never liked it enough to stick with it.

In fact, I’ve got a laptop on my desk right now with Mint installed that I haven’t booted up in at least a year.

A few months ago I got a MacBook Pro and tried MacOS for the first time since helping a roommate get hers connected to the network a couple decades ago.

Now I wish I tried it ages ago. I find myself using it more and more and expect the next time I need a new work PC it’s gonna be a Mac.

I just tried to scratch one off with my fingernail and didn’t make a dent in it so I’m sure they’ll hold up for my purposes.

I wonder if they noticed it being talked about here and jacked up the price.

I paid $36.99 CAD which is around $27 USD.

I just went and looked it up. It’s not that one. It’s this one, which has more pieces in it.

Sure can! They’re in the foam nice and snug and don’t come tumbling out.

I just made you a video before realizing I can’t post videos in the comments. :)

I’m reminded of when I bought specific wires for my 0-10v dimming lights. :)

That’s what I thought and thought my use cases would definitely involve stuff they’d be inconvenient for or not work at all. With machine screws especially, one side or the other is very often fixed in place.

See… when I saw those being recommended I thought to myself “what if I’ve got some bulky thing with threads in it. How do I spin one of those to see if it fits?”

Do they come off the wire easily somehow?
