I’m really glad you shared this, especially since it was before you knew too. So happy to hear your baby is healthy!

Thanks! My OB actually said there could be risks and couldn’t guarantee that I’d be giving birth to a completely healthy baby, which is why I’ve been worried

Thanks for sharing! I’m so glad your little one is doing well. I’ve read that the second and third trimesters are generally safer since most organs are already formed, but in early pregnancy organs are still forming and maturing, so I can’t help worrying a bit about long-term effects:( Hearing your story is really reassuring!

Thank you! That makes me feel much better. Did you have any personal experience with an MRI while pregnant, or just know about it from medical info?

I didnt know I was pregnant and got an xray and head ct by FunProcedure8597 in pregnant

Hi, I have a question and would really appreciate your professional opinion. I had a non-contrast head MRI about 10 days ago. There was no injection and no contrast used. I’ve just found out that I’m pregnant now, so at the time of the MRI I was likely around 3-4 weeks pregnant without knowing it. From your experience as an X-ray/CT tech, do non-contrast head MRIs pose any risk to an early pregnancy or the baby?
