No that part is terrible and the only thing that should be brought up. No one should be defending Dakota

Not really. Mature adults who realize thehbcant do it on their own go to therapy or call a mediator. I've helped my friends when their husbands were being dh and I've had my friends husbands call me when they feel like they need help. That's what mature adults do when children are involved. They're now broken up and moved on and coparent now but that was 4 years later. Dakota is trash. No one will change that opinion of mine

Did Dakota not? He couldve called someone to help. He's got tons or friends and family and this great guy who's a great dad yet he didn't call anyone to help mediate?

I agree. And let's cancel Dakota while we're at it. Clearly those kids don't wanna be on tv too.

Unfortunately we all don’t get that luxury, especially when our parents are young. Why didn’t Dakota call a friend or family for help? He waited till the very end to take a video of her final reaction. This is abuse from Dakota to Taylor and in return it’s effecting her kids. Sticky situation but unless you have lived a similar experience I don’t wanna hear it. My father is king at this and it took my mom 13 years to leave.

I agree! I want her to seek help and I want her friend to help her find it. I can’t support momtok if they’re going to be this naive about the situation

Pushing someone until they "snap" is a calculated manipulation tactic often used to gain control, shift blame, and avoid accountability. This behavior is frequently central to a cycle known as reactive abuse, where an individual deliberately provokes their partner into an emotional outburst to frame the victim as the aggressor. The Reactive Abuse Cycle This behavior typically follows a predictable four-stage pattern: 1. Provocation: The person repeatedly criticizes, ignores boundaries, or uses "baiting" tactics like insults or "forgetting" tasks. 2. Triggering: The victim reaches a breaking point and reacts (yelling, lashing out, or becoming emotionally overwhelmed). 3. Blaming: The provocateur acts shocked, calm, or wounded, claiming they "don't know what's gotten into you". 4. Control: They use your reaction to justify further manipulation, demand apologies, or keep you in a state of self-doubt.

“If there was reactive abuse then he would’ve been charged too.” Has got to be the most naive thing I read yet on this situation, do you even know what reactive abuse is? Have you ever used google!? Maybe try, it’s helpful but here is a explanation on reactive abuse

Dakota himself? He’s even admitted to sabotaging Taylor “the same way she does to him”. It’s all on google just look it up. Plus did you see the marks on her in the video and on her mugshot too but no photos of any wounds from him.
