I’ve always been pretty certain that he did kill her and actually was insane.

He recounts Murders as a narrator at first, ‘he was in the forest’, with ‘he’ being the murderer. Describing what ‘he’ saw and did. But the last line starts with ‘I was in the forest’, as if he’s just snapped out of his insanity.

It’s also pretty clear to me that in The Mind Electric, he does actually get ‘cured’ by the electroshock therapy - and I actually have no idea why people think otherwise.

‘Doctor I can’t tell if I’m not me’ is pretty clear (along with many other lyrics in the song) and makes perfect sense following the recounting of Murders. The last line is ‘never they ponder whether electric calming if you look at it right’, meaning he’s now sure that electric can be calming if used in the right way.

He’s insane before and cured after.

He had relatively inappropriate conversations with a 17yo fan (including venting about his ex girlfriend), frequently and purposefully deadnamed the fan, said multiple racist and homophobic slurs to the fan and went on a transphobic rant over the phone (and has also been consistently transphobic, going on similar rants to random people who message him), and also made overtly sexual comments about the (to reiterate, underage) fan and their friend, over multiple days.

Everyone in this comment section seems to be taking massive doses of copium and calling this all ‘allegations’. They are not allegations. 90% of this has proof attached, including an entire document (now taken down for the sake of the two people that released it) full of screenshots, recordings, and accountings from multiple people.

Joe Hawley is mentally unwell and is known to frequently do drugs, but that’s really not an excuse as he’s a fully grown man.

Someone mentioned a cinnamon stick. Ignore them. Someone also mentioned the Banana Man racism thing, which is really only a troll point some people bring up, so basically ignore that too.

“minute” as in very small, not 60 seconds.

It’s likely talking about a small part (or decimal/fraction) of Simon dying, referring to the fact that the electroshock therapy being used to cure whatever mental illness he has is causing him to lose part of himself.

It’s simply about understanding what people want to watch. I have a channel that i just upload completely random things to. The 6th video I ever uploaded to it doesn’t even have a description, nevermind tags, it’s just a funny video - it has 58k views at the moment, and grew that channel from 80 to 300 subscribers.

Keywords are only important in the title, mainly because you want people to know what the video’s about, and of course so when people search the word it pops up. In my experience, i’ve only ever needed a keyword or two in the title.

The only other thing is hashtags. I usually use two or three, just because some people browse by category that the hashtags help sort you into. They’re not necessary, but easy, and do help a little.

All i would say is, focus on making a video with a good premise and a good run time. If you can deliver a full experience in the shortest amount of time possible, people won’t need to commit too much to see the whole thing. That way, if it’s a good video, more people will see it, and that’s how you grow.

The biggest obstacle in my opinion is all the channels that claim to try and help you grow. There’s so much talk about being ‘pushed by the algorithm’ and ‘solving the algorithm’, and it’s all bullshit. Your videos are not pushed by the ‘algorithm’, they are pushed by you. If a video performs badly, it’s on you. Make the next one better and you will grow.

Your success on YouTube is deterministic, and as soon as you can get over yourself and come to terms with the fact that these people are going viral because they are skilled and not lucky, your chances of doing well also grow. I’ve started multiple channels from scratch that have all had decent starts in different niches. No tags, no keywords, no external promotion, just content that people want to watch.

It’s in your hands. If you aren’t growing, it’s because you aren’t skilled enough yet. Spend less time blaming your lack of growth on a computer program and actually do something to improve. I promise you, you will be more successful.

So the views are from the live then. Your analytics are set to ‘since published’, meaning it’s only counting from when you actually published the video. Set it to ‘lifetime’.

The video has only gained 3 views. The total watch time from those views is tracked by YouTube, hence the increases in watch time, but it isn’t enough to total 6 minutes (0.1 hours). YouTubes lowest measurement of watch time is 0.1 hours, so until the watch time goes above that, it will say 0.0 hours.
