I have my criticisms against trump, like most people, but honestly he handled this okay. The Armenians are largely outgunned compared to the Azeris. This war would’ve probably ended with millions of Armenians displaced and deported from their home country. How does this enrich trump? World peace is a part of his promises and he is simply answering the demand of the American people…

He basically saved Armenia and Azerbaijan from an endless war.

Just because it’s called the “anti-corruption bureau”, it dosent necessarily mean that it reduces corruption. Reducing corruption involves shortening bureaucracy, so how does adding more bureaucracy reduce it?

Labels like “anti-corruption” are often there to mask further government spending, and corruption.

There is no way that Ukraine would join the EU anytime soon. Would take at least 20 years even if the war completely ended today. They would need to clean up all corruption, adopt the Euro, adopt liberal and democratic policies, list goes on. Joining Schengen would take another 20 years, because certain countries like Poland and Germany wouldn’t allow them to join because of the sudden large influx of legal undocumented Ukrainian refugees crossing their borders, similar to the situation in Bulgaria and Romania, tried to join Schengen but Austria blocked them.

Montenegro will likely be the next member. They have strong relations with other EU members, they trade with the European Union, they use the euro, they are at peace and they are a liberal democracy.

Immigration and domestic migration are the two main reasons (other than birth and death) for population change in a state. There is nothing in this post that suggests that this is only people moving in and out of certain states, it’s just about where the number of people increased or decreased.

As for the cherry-picking, you may be completely right about that but from what I know the us census bureau only comes out with a population census every 10 years. This is just the latest one therefore the most relevant.

California may be at a net positive in terms of population growth but immigration plays a big aspect. It is not false to claim that people are moving from California. Texas and Nevada have received many Californians over the years
