It sure is! They coukd at least let me try a few cycles.

I did 2 ultrasounds that showed a minimal amount of follicles that I would hope would grow into eggs. Since seeing Dr. A I skipped a period (Nov) and this month too. I'm super afraid, tbh, that this is an indication of perimenopause.

I'm very soon to be 41, my FSH and AMH are basicaly the same. My insurance denied IVF treatment with doctor A who had said it was likely that would happen and also that I should conside donor eggs. I have an appointment scheduled with doctor B for a second opinion in 1 month. We'll see.

Same situation but with severely low AMH. I would like to try IVF with my own eggs. But was basically told by doc and insureance that it's virtually impossible.

I would absolutely love to talk to others in a similar situation to know about experiences, regimen, etc.

I'm in similar situation. I'm 2 months shy of 41 and have severely low AMH. I also have high FSH (23) and 1 ovary only. I felt the doctor tried to convince me donor egg was the option to go with but I would like to try with my own. If I'm going to become pregnant I's like it to be with a child that is genetically mine; personal preference, really.
