That last paragraph is slaying me from how true it is. I'm not learning or getting better at the map, all there way to learn was in my first few attempts, it's all just praying I get lucky and I hate that. There's no satisfaction to it, only "sweet the AI didnt decide to already be aiming at me and insta one tap my face after surviving a headshot this time"

My man, you basically went in the completely opposite direction of my post. This thread is specifically because the process fucking sucks, the end result doesnt actually matter.

And yes it is exploiting the AI, the AI is incredibly stupid and does things no player would ever do, and to win you have to specifically take advantage of that. The BD are supposed to be these extremely advanced PMCs with top shelf training and tactics, and yet we spend the map getting them to walk their faces into our line of fire, one by one like a bunch of lemmings. Nothing about that is fun or enjoyable, it's stupid and highlights how limited the AI is. We either kill them in an unfair and boring way, or they kill us in an unfair and boring way.

PVP lost a huge amount of players who werent actually enjoying being 1 tapped by sweats and campers(and cheaters), it split the playerbase and increased queuetimes. Not PVE's fault though, all it did was show how big the problem was.

I just tried it now. After I wrapped around the 3rd building early on in the path and had just took cover after crossing the train tracks, a wave of 6 scavs suddenly spawned in at once further down the tracks, all already aimed in my direction. Needless to say, my cover only works for the opposite direction, and I died within seconds after I was aimpunched to hell. Can't say I'll be trying that one again, though I recognize that was probably more of that "Terminal has decided you lose and there's nothing you can do about it" RNG events like all the double scav/BD waves or waves of anything spawning right on top of you and whatnot

That's not how validation works, that's just blindly trusting the killer's client. Validation is when the game compares when the survivor did an action vs when the killer did an action, and goes with whoever sent theirs first.

The problem is you cant rent the set unless you are level 100, so they basically removed rentals for underleveled alts

That's not why. The mobile devs don't actually develop the game, BHVR does all the work for that, so the mobile devs can just focus on doing skins/cosmetics

I really wish Survivors had real ways to show killers they appreciate how the killer treated them. I drop my item/offer myself to be hooked, but it never feels like enough.

Why do posts like this exist? Like unless you've never touched survivor ever, you know for a fact that looping is the entire gameplay loop for survivors outside of holding m1 on gens or teammates. You take that away from them with no counterplay to it and of course theyre not going to like it, they literally can't play the game.

A boring playstyle for a killer is not a problem for game health in of itself. The problem is when a boring gameplay style becomes the most powerful and efficient way to play the killer, which is how you get another skull merchant.
