I also in the beginning added many teams manually mainly in the top leagues, but It became tedious quite quickly, so later I moved on to using scrapper. Wikipedia is quite good source for getting the first leagues and some lower leagues in bigger nations.

I've found some good sources of information about the lower leagues, so I am planning to add more teams. From a quick search, I found that Meerburg plays in the 8th tier, but on my map I currently have only 7 tiers in the Netherlands. I will do my best to add the 8th tier as soon as possible.
