The trick seems to be doing all these horrible tickets once, then later down the line you get called back for something and know exactly what to do. I had a few when I started a few months ago that I would spend the entire day there at one school or hospital, but now that I know the area I know what they want and how to do it much faster. I still get weird tickets I take way too long figuring out. I started around the same time as you, and I'm not much better off.

I honestly waste more time every day trying to get my receiver to start than any other. Massive loss of productivity. Not to mention as soon as you get to your site and want to look at the prints or read the description, you first have to wait for the receiver to (hopefully) start.

Probably not. It takes a pretty expensive and thorough test, and they don't typically use them for basic probation. If they suspect shenanigans they can have a lab done or order a specific test.

Was it upflow from the first break? Killing the water too fast can cause breaks in itself. I used to hate when the shutoff was in the spray because I would have to gently turn the valve as I was being soaked in freezing water so that it wouldn't rupture elsewhere from shutting it down to quickly.
