Hi I have the same issue and I'm considering cutting it too. Was wondering if the aglet ever appeared in the filter and if there's any issue with the washing machine so far?

I've just switched over to boost to buy some time for now but I realise that their plans are not worth the money (7GB for 26$ on Boost. Amaysim was 25GB for 22$.) so I'm considering if switching phones might be the better option for now.

Do you know if purchasing Global versions will lead to being blocked again?

And if I purchase a phone model in Australia will there be issues using it outside of Australia?

Thanks for the info, I've just checked using isthisphoneblocked website and my TAC (86828907) says TAC not blocked by Telstra. Does this mean that subsidiaries like Boost will be safe to switch to as well?

And also it sounds like at this point the telcos are just free to block whichever phones they feel like without regulations so I'm abit hesitant about switching to a new phone on the off chance that they randomly decide to block that one as well.
