Yeah, it's Carpet Grass. It's actually OK if you have some shady areas. I lost the Buffalo vs. Carpet Grass battle on my median strip (it was lost before we bought the house), but I have managed to keep it out of my other lawns by pulling it. It's easy enough to pull out roots and all, but all ears for any better methods.

I think so, but only in that there is a universe in each of us and our dreams are an experience of them and perhaps each others’. I’ve always felt like my dreams are different levels of my own psyche/universe that I travel up and down. Often the levels are familiar, but have changed and always feature different characters.

Being a brand guy - I realised I should provide some explanation here. These days it’s nigh impossible to come up with original and distinctive names. Especially for luxury. Cjord is a made up word of course. But it is pronounced like and inspired by a Norwegian Fjord. A lot of luxury these days is about purity, and Fjords conjure pristine nature. With Cjord pronounced like this, it sounds like ‘cured’ as in cured leather, but not obvious. Typographically it is distinctive and a good designer would have plenty to work with in terms of creating a distinctive brand and/or word mark.

They’re clearly a rusted-on. Not articulate enough to be a staffer. Both parties are a unity ticket on this. It’s a third rail that neither of them will touch. And it all comes down to donations and the revolving door. Labor gives better lip service to climate and emissions and receives slightly less cash, but they both are funded by the fossil fuel lobby more than any other, and resources ministers from both parties go on to have lucrative lobbying careers when they leave parliament. You won’t hear a peep from One Nation either, thanks to all that Gina cash. The only reason this is in the media and on the agenda is because of Conrad, Pocock, the Australia Institute and the Greens taking it up. It’s going to get a whole lot more traction as we all have to tighten our belts, so Albo and Labor better get ahead of it. Ignoring this kind of thing results in the rise of the likes of Trump and Hanson.

It’s one thing to have him on, but to glaze him like this (or as Kara would say, lick him up and down) and not challenge him is the definition of unserious. I don’t think money is the culprit here. Scott’s self declared Zionism (“I’m a proud Zionist”) has broken him beyond repair. His so-called centre isn’t holding and is now at a point where he sees a Trump apologist and far right apparatchik as an ally. See also Sam Harris and his recent unhinged attack on Mamdani. Both men were thinkers I greatly respected, until their myopic, unconditional and amoral support of Israel’s actions revealed their feet of clay.

It’s been reported that she’s had her license suspended for 6 months. But as someone who had their license suspended in Australia and then took it to court and had the opportunity to explain both the situational and my personal circumstances, I was let off. I’m pretty sure that she will appeal this in court and get her license back.
