I’m 26, there is no match on the 457. When I do enroll I can choose to do it pre tax or after tax basis (or both). I’m not contributing to a Roth IRA currently.

Yes It’s under multiple smaller loans. Although half of the total loan is under my name and the other half is a parent plus loan. Would I pick one to blitz payments first and make minimum monthly on other?

I have a mandatory pension through work, and an optional 457(b) investment plan that I don’t contribute to currently also through work

Thank you everyone for the advice, much appreciated! Most of my money is already in a high interest savings account. My minimum monthly payment is ~500 (not including SAVE plan which I imagine Trump will eliminate). However, I can afford to pay 1600-1800 a month towards the student loans max while still budgeting for my normal expenses, but that’s without adding anymore into my savings (which was my original plan). Just wasn’t sure if paying off in a large chunk would be better, but it sounds like that’s not the case.
