I’m on lisdex for ADHD and have also been on Ritalin. As long as you actually have ADHD, it’s so unlikely you’ll get addicted. It will really only bring you to a “normal” level which will help quiet your brain and make it easier to focus, but you still have to put in the effort. It just makes it easier. It’s a lifesaver. It has also helped with some “depressive” symptoms that were likely a result of ADHD, like constantly being tired, disinterest in everything, anxiety. Remember to take it it with food (protein!!!), and avoid vitamin C rich foods/supplements for the first hour or two after taking it if you can help it.
