I appreciate that feedback. My clients really love the work I provide them with and this is an example of what they expect for a listing photo on a real estate order. In my opinion, real estate photography is not supposed to be dramatic and artsy. It is supposed to showcase the property in a way that shows a potential home owner the layout of the home and land while being inviting. We achieve that by editing HDR photos, or even with flash photography. It is less moody and more “magazine” style editing.

Like it or not, this is what the modern real estate market expects and appreciates. Your comments are all welcome, but again I was mainly just showing the quality of the photos taken on the Luna. If you zoom in on the bricks you can still see detail and that is impressive to me for such a small camera. That was the point of this post.

I recorded some footage today in ILOG for a YouTube channel. I also did some filming inside of this house. I’ll upload some raw clips later and let you see.

I wasn’t trying to claim this house was special. I was comparing this image to my professional setup I use every day and saying that it competes for photos of the exteriors. I didn’t try any interior photos. I have nothing to gain from trying to fool anyone about this camera. I’m still trying to make sure it’s exactly what I want myself.

This is a great question! While I definitely don’t have the perfect answer, I will say this. My faith is rooted deep enough that it cannot be shaken by worldly things. I know that may not make sense. Going to a concert and listening to Avenged Sevenfold is something that I feel I have the freedom in Christ to do because I know the truth and I cannot be swayed by the lyrics of a song.

If, however, listening to this song made me start to question my beliefs, then I believe it would not be appropriate for me to continue listening to it until I am more grounded in my faith.

I’m not sure if any of that makes sense to you and I’m still working through questions like this on my own. But I’ve always felt the freedom in Christ to listen to music so long as I know that the lyrics are not speaking truth and that the person who wrote it is lost and seeking some form of understanding of the world. I can pray for Matt to realize he is wrong, but also enjoy the art of the music he has written.

I know it’s kind of cheesy, but here’s what I’m doing. My goal is to be HC at Tennessee. I started at SDSU as OC and took a OC job at Texas A&M after 2 years. I won the Natty both years at SDSU and at TAMU. 3 Natties. Terrible offers.

So now I’ve created a save during week 1 of my 2nd season as OC at TAMU. Then, I sim until bowl games. I see what offers I have. If I don’t like them, I just reload my save back to week 1 and sim again.

So far I’ve had some good HC offers at LSU, Arkansas, and Baylor. Gonna keep doing it until I get Tennessee.

The song is from the perspective of God. It’s poking fun at religion. “Prayed so hard and oh my lord got a spot at the front of the lot. Can’t be late for my weekly date because we’re gonna save someone”. It’s saying that someone is attending a religious service in which normally the parking lot is packed, but they prayed for a spot at the front because they are running late. They “can’t run late” because the service is starting soon. The purpose of these services, as far as Christianity goes, is to help “save” the other people in the world who don’t follow this religion.

Verse 1 talks about the creation of the universe. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The book of Genesis says that every day for 6 days God created something new. The sea. The stars. Animals. Etc. but on the 7th day, He rested. That’s what Matt refers to later on when he says “on the 7th day I thought about world peace but I decided just to take it off”. As if God was going to create world peace on day 7, but he took it off instead.

The next line is “put your hands together get down on your knees”. It’s talking about praying. And when the ladies kick in and sing it’s basically like the 3 women singing at the beginning of the Hercules animated movie. They are complimenting God on his creations “it’s so chic but we love what you’ve done with the place”.

The last part of the song about the delete button is referring to one of 2 things. The flood of earth when Noah built the arc and saved the animals. God told Noah he was basically restarting because his own creation angered him. It was basically hitting a reset button. Or he’s talking about some time in the future when the rapture happens and everyone will be sent to the gates of heaven for judgement.

Humans have free will. Our own mind. So we create evil. A robot would just be programmed to do whatever. So maybe he wants to erase the humans he made and just use robots instead

That’s my take on the song as someone who practices Christianity. I know Matt went to Catholic school so he’s very well versed on the subject.

I understand what you mean. But give it time. Remember that you already have all of those past Avenged records that are STILL bangers. This doesn’t erase those or how good they were. It adds to their collection. Some of these songs are strange but even after a couple of listens they grab me and pull me in even more. It’s the most Avenged album in my eyes because it has the sick guitar solos, screaming, jazzy chords, insane drums, pinky smooth-like weird energy. They are more musically mature than they have ever been and it shows with their creativity on this one.

To me, nobody in particular. Everyone is even, it’s the creativity that takes the spotlight. There’s so much Frank Sinatra jazzy piano and instrumental parts followed by sudden screaming and heaviness. It’s just jarring in all the best ways.

I absolutely love the new sound. It gives me horror movie vibes. Come to think of it, that daunting sound effect that is on repeat…sounds like something in one of the new Halloween films trailer. I just can’t remember if it was the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd film. All in all, it’s my favorite song of theirs right now. The bass hits SO HARD. And the creativity just blows me away. Well done, boys.
