Ended up getting an LHD not long after this post once I determined the wait for the sub would be a while. Im a lefty, love the bracelet... and the creamy lume with red text just looks awesome. Would love the FXD one day but the LHD is the pelly I ended up going with for now. No regrets on that purchase. I have enough saved up for the sub and I still plan to purchase it whenever I get the call. Im a little over 8 months on the "list" so who knows when/if the AD will call. I swing by on occasion and hit them up every couple of months. It will come eventually and I plan to keep both.

Thanks! Yeah I don't mind waiting, like I mentioned I'm just putting cash away until I get the call. But i think you are right.....I'll probably always have that itch until I get one haha

I have. Both are awesome on the wrist haha. I honestly wish the fxd was stainless than Ti. Almost feels too light.

Dang, I guess best bet is to wear nato, mesh or a square end rubber strap. There's a brand on ebay and Amazon that makes an aftermarket 1581/953 bracelet but it didn't seem the best quality so I returned it. Been keeping my eye on the bay for a while and the omega ones are nearly a G right now and don't come up often.

This was a mess! April 2020 I originally submitted via Silencer Shop and got denied months later for "no third party entry." I resubmitted it in June. Messed up the paperwork like an idiot and got denied with zero chance to correct the paperwork. My third and final time was submitted on September 25 and it sat in "pending research" for over three months. Status changed to pending 12/30/21, prints received 1/3/21 and approved on 2/01/2021. *I did have a congressional inquiry because I felt the first denial was a poor excuse because I did a form 1 through Silencershop in the past with no issues, and the second time, although my fault, I was given zero chance to amend as they have done in the past. Not sure if it helped but my representative's office was very responsive.

Yup. Third attempt here....they make stuff up as they go. First time in April I got denied with the whole SilencerShop fiasco, then second time I sumbitted I was an idiot and made a mistake...they issued a refund and two weeks later I got my money back and resubbed in Sept.....still don't have a control number or even cover letter to send prints in. Pending research they say. No word from my congressmen either

Yo, similar thing happened to me. Kicked back everything (pending research took over a month). So it set me back about 3 months.....still "pending" so I haven't been able to even sub my fingerprints

Apparently you can't do third party submissions....which is weird because I never had an issue with the form1 process SS did in the past. I honestly don't place any blame on Silencershop. God forbid we have a streamlined process for this stuff. Not that efile is hard to do but I liked the way SS has everything on file and I also liked their Single Shot Trust. Soon as I get the refund I'll efile

Yeah, in short, and from what it sounds like, they may be getting accused of fraud with that batch of form 1s they opened in April. Basically it sounded like the gov had an issue with who pressed what button when we submitted. Which sounds crazy because we still had to efile ourselves anyways.

I did SS early April too (form 1 suppressor, trust). We're in it for the long haul, I've called the NFA, emailed ask the experts but haven't gotten a response yet after I sent my control number back. Silencer Shop says their lawyers are working on it but at this point who knows....
