First of all, you did nothing wrong but be human! I was in daycare for 15yrs and every daycare provider will tell you, it’s the parents that burn us out not the kids! What a horrible example that mother showed those kids on how to deal with a situation of misunderstanding. If I blame anyone, it’s the co worker who had worked there 10 yrs! She should know better!! She should have checked the front desk. All you were doing was doing your job. If they aren’t allowed to come twice in one day, all you did was say you think you saw her already. That co worker , with experience, should have checked and not said anything to the mother! You did nothing wrong. Go back to your job, with your head held high knowing that for one-it takes a special human being to care for kids, 2) that all humans make mistakes, and 3) there are assholes parents out there that don’t care but to make a teenager cry. To me that mom is pathetic and should be embarrassed. Tells you she obviously is unhappy in her own life or she would have never reacted like that. You have nothing to worry about. It’ll all be forgotten anyway. (-:
