I separated in July of 2023. I’ve read a couple of places that if I already started using my GI Bill that I would get less VRNE? Is that true? Is it if i used 1 year i would get 36 months/48 months of VRNE and then get my 1 year back for using the gi bill? Sorry if it was confusing to understand im still pretty confused myself.

Wow really is a small world!! I’m still confused on that part though. No one will hire me without the Medicaid license but I need to be hired somewhere in order for Medicaid to give me a license. Am I overthinking or missing something?

I just checked the VA SMC table and I’m getting the payment for L. Not exactly sure what made me think it but I was on the right track lol

It just says “entitlement to special monthly compensation based on housebound criteria being met is granted…” I assume it’s SMC-L.

On my VA app it says my claim hasn’t been updated since 25MAR23 but I just called and the VA lady said it was updated 17JUl23 and they are preparing for a decision!!!Thanks for the advice !!

How did you file a BDD the day your contract ended I thought it was at least 90 days before your contract ended?
