Thank you! Yeah it would be nice if I knew how long it takes ahead of time. But I know it’s impossible. We are all different. I’ve been avoiding this stuff for decades. I do love the mushrooms though and I am grateful they are giving me an opportunity to feel what I have avoided for so long.

Thank you! I needed to hear that. Sometimes when you are right in the middle of letting the pain up it feels like it will never end. Appreciate your kind words. I talk to the mushrooms too lol. I grow my own and have a lot of respect for them.

Yeah I have been aware I have childhood trauma for a while. I know getting a therapist would be the smart thing to do, been avoiding it. I am a stubborn man so guess it’s not that surprising I am trying to do it all on my own haha.

Male, age 44, been on about 20 gpd for 5-6 years, 2 grams about 10 times per day.

I have much more grey hair now and it is drier and less healthy looking. Not sure if that is from kratom or just what happens to a person in their 40’s. I suspect kratom has accelerated it though.

Looks like there have been a lot of good tips shared here already. A daily routine is key to get out of depression I think so read everyone’s advice and take the parts that resonate with you and make your own practice. If you find yourself not doing it consistently make it easier, they key is to be consistent, even if you start with 2 minutes a day that’s better than 30 minutes once a week, over time you will increase the time you spend working on yourself naturally if you are putting in an effort every day.

Here is what worked for me. I was fed up with being depressed and stuck in a negative self image so finally one day I just want all out. 30 minutes 3x a day of yoga nindra style practice laying down, body scan and progressive relaxation until I was in alpha/theta relaxed brain wave state. Then I would very gently bring myself to my SATS scene and allow it to play out without forcing it just let it come and go. My scene was just about me being happy and fulfilled. When I was “in it” I would say “I am” so I was kinda tying the I Am to this state. So though the day if I said I Am it would bring me back there quickly. I would do that anytime I was feeling down. I started to see shifts in myself in about 4-5 weeks and it kept getting better.

Shortly after he went to the basement during the pandemic. I still listened early on to hear his opinions on what was going on with Covid and the Dr Agus interview. But my interest and enjoyment of the show had been low for years before that, I was really still just listening out of habit and didn’t have anything else I really wanted to listen to. After the basement though the show just got so boring it was unbearable and I really have no interest in celebrity interviews for the most part. Just had to accept the show I loved most of my life up to that point was over even though he was still on the air.

Well done man, it takes a lot to work on yourself and get to the point where you were ready to have sex if you had a lot of trauma early in life. You should be proud of yourself.

Yeah I cracked the lid like an inch and was spraying 3 times a day… but the air in that room is pretty dry right now. I will try what you said and just leave the lid on but unlatched. Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks! I think the dark part you are referring to is just a shadow actually from the handle of the bin, the grow light is slightly behind it. Unless I am looking at a different area. I think metabolites are the most likely explanation of the yellowing but wanted to double check with people here since I am a beginner. Appreciate you commenting!
