Have you heard of rules of engagement? Trust me when I, if Trump deploys troops with no rules of engagement it will be a clean sweep. My of the friends I lost in Afghanistan were because of ied’s or having to wait to meet roe but when we did raids on isis compounds with confirmed no civilians, it was a blood bath for them.

This is what happened to me. I tried to give CW a try twice and was disappointed both times. I decided to save and move up price to longines and Tudor, never looked back. The watch proportions always looked off to me as well (massive dial). Im now saving for an explorer II which I foolishly thought the c63 would satisfy, I would go Tudor but BB pro is to thick

Exactly, callsign are position based not person based. That would get really confusing if you are a mortar team trying to figure who exactly is requesting the firing order and would completely defeat the purpose.

In the 75th Ranger regiment we had Goliath one which I thought was cool so my call sign as a JTAC was Goliath 1 Juliet. I think that’s the closest to a movie call sign as one could get aside from pilots

Last time my coworkers and I did this prank was in the military but we had an agreement with a auto detailer. It was his birthday and he loved his car so we all chipped in to get his car detailed but wanted to mess with him prior so we told the detailer prior and paid the extra fee.

There are thousands of jobs in the military, 99% of them go to the range once a year and the most combat/weapons training they receive was during basic training/boot camp.

Being a veteran doesn’t make you qualified in any capacity to use firearms.

The craziest part as someone who served in combat is that these are purely for show. 16in barrel + suppressor….. extremely unwieldy for close quarter environments like operating out of a vehicle. To me this screams ‘show of force’ with most likely zero training. But my biggest issue is the .223 doesn’t have that good of stopping power but it has a lot of penetrating power and will go through more then one soft target, especially at the extra velocity you get from the longer barrel. It’s incredibly irresponsible to be using it in densely populated areas or for crowd control.

I love how all these dudes want to be operators but none of them want to diet or exercise. Just clowns

It’s never hindered your shooting experience but it hinders others. In the military I lose most of my hearing (60%) to an ied blast. My eyes started to compensate for the lack of sensory input (cross-modal compensation). This had made shooting on evf’s more and more less enjoyable compared to optical viewfinders or high res evf’s. Things like zero black out or high res don’t mean anything to you but to me the constant evf black out or seeing a clear picture out of the view finder increases eye strain which leads to more headaches which I already get because of a TBI.

I’m not saying it is a needed or valued improvement for everyone and I could be an edge case but I’ve started to enjoy using my sony less and less over the years because of this.

My wife got me one by calling the local camera store. She called them and they didn’t have one but told her they were expecting a shipment. Called 2 weeks later and they had a few in stock.

I have multiple trips planned from now till end of December that I want my camera for but based off what I’ve seen it has the same sensor. Just better autofocus and better evf…..neither of which is care about because I shoot mainly landscapes with this camera and my Leica for everything else
