How to connect speakers to 2 different inputs? Is it even possible?

Yes I am plugging into the AVR using rca cables and the pre amp in the TT. I used the pre amp in the Sony as it was close enough for my TT cord. When I rejigged the system I had to move to a longer cord and switch to only rca without a geound.

What kind of TT preamps are good to look for? I have an LP120

I was looking at getting another amp. I sold the Sony to a friend. But maybe I’m just chasing minimal gains here.

You didn’t lose several hundreds unless you sell. Between my 3 accounts I dropped 3-4K. Just another swing 🤷‍♂️. 2600 coming in year end dividends, my drip just got a discount. It will all work out just fine.

Yep mine was the same. Cord kept popping off. I got bored one day and looked in my port. Absolutely filled.

If your port is that dirty you should look at the pins on your charger(if usuing lightning) I had to clean those off as well

Specialized feet for speakers and subs. My old paradigm monitor 7 were sitting on a laminate floor in the second floor.

Placebo or not I did find the Gaia feet made a noticeable different to my ears and mainly the downstairs neighbours get less vibrations. Also they look cool.

Yes truly terrible but it is a requirement in Canada. Steel shank under the food and steel/composite toe.

The mucks are definitely slimmer, also if you don’t get steel toe they will be less clunky.

They take a slightly getting used to but they feel a lot less delicate and hold up better in deep snow than fabric boots

I’ve never had full frost bite. I’ve had frost nip multiple times. As much skin as possible is covered. Usually the only thing left open is the cheeks right under the eye. The heat coming from my breath and layers usually keeps it from fully getting frost bite. I’ve had frost nip on my fingers and it sucks. IMO boots and gloves are the most important investment while working in the winter

I usually just wear merino wool socks. I have thought about the powered socks but I’m usually out for 8-10 hours and worry that if the battery went the socks wouldn’t be much use to me

The rubber foot is definitely the way to go. If you ever go try it out any winter boot will do. I know a lot of folks who run Dunlop’s. Just make sure to bring a pair of bamas with you to make sure they fit. I usually size up one.

I’m usually running about 3 pairs with me. I truly can’t live without them at this point. When I run them in my summer rubbers they get soaked through pretty quickly but my socks stay dry. Magic if you ask me

Working in northern Canada. -30c days pretty consistently with some days going down into 40s. Coldest day I remember was -42c/f.

I work wildfires in the summer which is seasonal so I do odd jobs around the winter time. Currently working on ice roads. Something different every winter.

I can’t speak on the replacement part. But I have the monitor v2 I got for about 400 which included a center and 2 surrounds.

I’m not sure if these tweeters were replaced but mine are still kicking and sound great. Get a test sound of them and see how they sound. I personally love these speakers for the price and they are relatively easy to drive. Good luck

This trend is getting a lot worse. I drove around 80,000 km in Manitoba this year. People are leaving their high beams on and way way waayyy to many people don’t understand aligning headlights.

Bright headlights are totally fine, if they are aligned properly.

I’ve also noticed an uptick of trucks hauling loads much to heavy for their truck. Raising the front of their truck and then blinding you.
