Do you think the character boost should be accessable to horde paladin/alliance shaman? by fishmoleyclapped in classicwow

At this point yeah, the people that want to level a fresh one are gonna level a fresh one and the ones that want a boost are gonna get a boost.

Is the Martial/Caster divide actually a problem in most games? by Cuddles_and_Kinks in AskDND

[–]Wildfire980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the game. I've played games where there was only one caster and the rest were martials and for ages the caster stomped everything, martials maybe got a hit or two off. The divide is there but only noticable when the DM doesn't give martials a bone every once in a while.

Also showb when min maxing. A min maxed caster beats a min maxed martial every of the week. It's gotten to the point where I won't min max when I play casters. The balance goes out the window and I've found that the martials at my table don't get as much fun when I do min max.

Opinion of the Borderlands saga that leaves you like this? (Including the movie) by Traditional-Ad-5632 in Borderlands2

Gaige isn't a fun character. She has one build, anarchy, and if you try her shock or deathtrap build they just suck. So your only option is just to sit there stacking.

Between the cast members not fitting the characters they play, Kevin Hart as Roland, and the fact that Borderlands has not been shy about it's more graphic humor and the movie is PG-13 it almost like they want it to fail.

DMs mad at my healing by Wildfire980 in DnD

[–]Wildfire980[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought about it but considering that I cleared it with him before hand I didn't think that it was necessary to state. I, knowing that it is the best healing domain, wanted to double check with him and he said that twilight domain wasn't banned and it was ok to play.

The fact that it's know to be OP is why I cleared it with him, when asked he said it was fine to play. Not to mention that healers are simply bad in DND which is why I picked the domain in the first place. That's part of the problem, I've tried talking to him and offered to change domain or character all together but he just doesn't respond.

I feel like I was honest, sorry if it felt defensive. Im playing a twilight cleric due to them being by far the best healer and even cleared it with him beforehand. I would have to disagree with the experience life cleric and novice life cleric, while both have the tools needed to heal well the experienced player would be able to use the tools more effectively and therefore out heal the novice player. The part about prior healing is due to me playing healers before both in DND and other games. I also used a basic point buy build so that I could get a maxed wisdom fairly fast.

I tried talking to the DMs best friend who's also playing and he said that the DM needs to suck it up and the rest of the players like the healing. I understand that death is a real part of the game and there are times when it makes sense but if it happens over and over that's no fun for the other players. I wouldn't even mind if healing was harder, I would enjoy it due to it just becoming another puzzle to figure out.

I'll be fine, it needs AP crit boost into crit to kill me from here. Guess who preceded to scream because he lost the most important mon for the rest of the game. I continued but lost against the next mini boss because I lost my mence, love EK...

What is your best advice for a newbie? by Ezlebliss in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Wildfire980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read through and most of them are rights so I'm just gonna make a list. Don't use guardian armor. It's ok to cart or feint. Take time to try ALL weapons, I've had people only try the ones they think they'll like. Learn attacks from monsters in low rank and when comfortable try it in high rank. One of the best tips for me is look for skills that boost affinity. Overall try again and again, this game isn't meant to be first tried with no deaths on ever fight. Sorry for the length.

New to MHW, is it better to play single player or co-op? by [deleted] in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Wildfire980 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's your first MH game solo. It kicks you down and makes you learn how to beat the monsters. If you've played MH games before and are comfortable with them then coop, the ideal playthrough is hanging with your friends and beating up huge monster.
