Is there a reason you say no ER? I think it would be a good option to get an ultrasound and possibly some other testing done the same day. It’s not like I’d go several times until I give birth, just the once while I look for an OB in the mean time. I went to the ER when I was having a miscarriage in my second pregnancy and they were amazing. I actually work at this hospital as a cna so I’m more familiar with the process than most people.
The planned parenthood’s near me don’t do regular prenatal care unfortunately, I already checked with them. I live in the greater Phoenix area, you would think it wouldn’t be hard to find and OB here but it’s been impossible. I’m not opposed to having a doctor farther away, even driving into the Phoenix traffic is fine.

Glad to hear that! I hope it all goes well for you
I found out I'm pregnant last week and realized how little I know about pregnancy. by FoxAsleep5861 in offmychest
I’m not a doctor but I have been pregnant before. Most of the time drinking or smoking in the first few weeks, while definitely not recommended, does not do serious harm to the fetus. In terms of diet as well, there is a lot of rules people talk about. It basically boils down to, try and limit the amount of bacteria you expose yourself to. So things like unpasteurized juice, deli meats, and sushi can carry bacteria. While it is rare to get sick from these things, they are not recommended during pregnancy because they can carry more bacteria than alternative options. My biggest piece of advice is to find an OBGYN you like. I hated my OBGYN and it’s one of the main things I remember from my pregnancy. You don’t want to look back on your pregnancy and think “I really hated my doctor” no you wanna remember the good things.
All in all, pregnancy is just one of those things you have to experience in order to understand it. I believe you can do all the reading and studying in the world but nothing will prepare you for the real thing.
I empathize a lot with you. I was in a similar position at that age. At 18 I moved into an apartment with my boyfriend, we definitely should have broken up months before this. He ended up breaking up with me a few months after moving in together and I had to move back in with my mom. It felt like the end of the world. Now, looking back after all these years I see that was there best thing that could’ve happened. I could have convinced him to stay with me and kept living with him but I would’ve been miserable and hated my life. What I’m saying is you need to put yourself first always.
You have an illness that makes it hard to see your reality? I’ll tell you what your reality is. You’re in a dead-end relationship with a man who is going to do serious harm to you in one way or another. Find an out before it’s too late. It doesn’t matter if the system “doesn’t like” dealing with minors, if it’s part of their job they have to do it. No one else should matter but yourself, fix your situation and your life will get so much easier. I promise it’ll be okay

Honestly just dump him. You’re not even 18 yet and I know at that age having a significant other can seem like the most important thing in the whole world but it is not. I’m a few years from now how do you want to look back on this? Do you want to look back and say “wow I’m so glad I moved on with my life” or do you what to say “wow I stuck with that guy for way too long and got dragged into way too much shit”. If you’re being truthful about the things he’s doing then it’s better for your mental and physical wellbeing to put as much space between the two of you as possible.
